I have always found it to evaporate much more quickly that Hoppes#9. I believe Rem has a higher water content. That is why it is so thin. I stick with Hoppes and believe its the best on the market. I've never used the Hoppes on anything, hows the smell? I can't stand the smell of the hoppes cleaner.

I wasn't bump firing because my rifle isn't converted yet. I was basically holding it at the hip and pulling trigger as fast as I could. I had a couple buddies look at my rifle and the "studder" my trigger has is like triple compared to a converted on how many pounds it takes. The threads are fine. Hey Waffen what's a good website that sells those? Azrial, I don't think that Tapco is suppose to send you one. Hello I'm new to the site and I have some questions I'm hoping I can get answered here! I was at the range a few months ago to shoot my Saiga 7.62/39 rifle. It was stock at the time. I was firing from the hip and all of sudden the handguard came off. I looked at it and the screw was missing, their wasn't any damage to the gun. I couldn't find the screw on the ground, so what I did was I took the screw from the top swivel and I have been using that. But it doesn't screw down all the way because it is longer and sticks out. I emailed and called Saiga twice to try and get a replacement screw/
