  1. Will wonders never cease? A box mailed via slow boat from China arrived today, containing the magazines I ordered and paid for. The enclosed slip said it was "repairs". I guess someone at EAA was repairing the fouled up order. Anyhow, I got a change to try them and they seem to fit. I'll need to get some range time to see if they function. stay safe. skidmark
  2. I'm back to trying to buy a couple of 2.5-inch mags for my Saiga .410. See my thread on Paul Rector of EAA for the story of why. Anyhow, I'm in the market. EAA priced theirs at $29.00 each. I'll take that as a starting point and dicker for the selling price if anybody has some on hand. If you don't have any you are willing to sell, but know of a source other than EAA, please let me know. Thanks. stay safe. skidmark
  3. Paul Rector (Rictor?) who is the vice president of EAA and the "gunsmith" in charge of sending out orders is a jackass! He blew the sale of three 2.5-inch mags over less than $4.00. EAA shipped me 20-ga mags instead of .410 mags. I contacted them & asaked to get the order fixed. Rector said I had to ship the 20-ga mags back at my expense before they would ship the .410 mags. After a few phone calls & emails Rector said he would reimburse my shipping. I told Rector that was not acceptable, as EAA made the error, not me. I am now "banned" from being a customer of EAA, and
  4. It sure is not a generousity generocity generousness giving nature. EAA goofed by sending me the wrong item. I contacted them & asked them to make it right. Ended up in a BIG argument with their "gunsmith" about EAA paying to ship the parts back, rather than me fronting the $$ for postage. (Sure, the interest I would lose of maybe $4.00 is not much, but the principle is important to me.) Three weeks of telephone & e-mail tag gets it resolved -- so I think. Then the "gunsmith" calls me & tries to say they will not be overnighting the correct items, and that I am goi
  5. says "Part: SAIGA 20GA MAGAZINE 2 3/4"" 5 RD Sounds like you are the lucky winner. Look for a PM with mailing info. My postage meter says 1 pound 1.7 ounces, not counting any envelope. Once I get your envelope with postage affixed I will drop it in the mail. Suggest you put YOUR OWN address as the return address as well as the send to address. stay safe. skidmark Check with me in 10 days. If nothing from Rusty you can have them. Rusty - are you listening. You have a deadline. stay safe. skidmark
  6. FREE TO GOOD HOME. EAA sent me 3 magazines for a Saiga 20-guage instead of what I ordered from them. After 3 weeks of telephone & e-mail tag Sharon Bell in Customer Service agreed to fix the screw-up and said I can do whatever I want with the 20-guage magazines. I will not discuss the conversations with the EAA "gunsmith." First person to PM or otherwise contact me gets them. All I ask is that you agree to send an envelope with enough postage to get them from ZIP code 23236 to you. stay safe. skidmark
  7. Wade - They are asking $29 each for the 4-round mags in either 2.5" or 3". A word of caution - they are "moving between buildings and things are a bit hectic right now" is what I was told when I got 20-guage mags instead of .410s. Also, the guy that is the only one who can arrange for them to pay to ship the correct stuff before they pay to get back the wrong mags is NOT returning phone calls like his voicemail says he will. I'm willing to give tem some time - but I've called my credit card company & told them it will be a disputed bill until the mags get swapped out properly.
  8. Thanks for the lead, and for copying all the contact info. Thery have what I'm looking for & order was placed. stay safe. skidmark
  9. Looking for 3 or 4 mags for 2 1/2-inch .410. Let me know what you have, how much you want, and how much more shipping will be. ZIP Code is 23236 if you need to know that. Thanks. stay safe. skidmark
  10. OK, so I've had a chance to wring out my new Saiga .410, and am more & more convinced I did the right thing to get it. BUT ----------------- there seems tro be a shortage of 3-inch ammo in my local area. SO --------- I'm in the market for 3 or 4 magazines for 2 1/2-inch ammo. Please let me know what you have, how much you want for them, and how much more shippimg is going to cost me. Thanks. stay safe. skidmark
  11. Just registered & want to say hello. Picked up my Saiga .410 yesterday & blew holes in paper at the range for a few hours. I think I'm going to like this little shotgun. I'm not new to .410, as I've shot a SxS for years (Stoeger Coach if you are curious). If annybody has leads on 3" slugs, 000, 00, #2bk or #4bk I'd appreciate hearing where you do your shopping. stay safe. skidmark
