zero matters on the drop.....i know my friends who have scoped bolt guns always zero at 100yards/meters
while my ar is sighted in at 200......they would catch more bullet drop and have to compensate more.....
but if you really want to do good at range.......you want a 6.5x55 swede fuck all that 308 nonsense......
the swede is flat shooting good bc and it carries its power on out there with it.....

have you ever seen a normal civilian ar-15 shot out......
you said a full auto....then an m-16.......
have you ever seen a civilian ar that was shot out...non chrome lined barrel...
i guess it might be cocky to assume that the answer is no.....but your samples were a military colt(m16) and a full auto....

i would say either will do fine....
the 308 would have more thump left......but it also cost more drop....
the 223 would shoot flatter but be like a stinger from a 22lr.....
if your punching paper and steel i would say 223 cheaper than 308.....less recoil faster follow up...

those star mags are fixed 20's made in china damn good......
that scope cover mount is somerthing someone bought and added on....
next to the russians the norincos are fucking badass.....i got 2....dont shoot em much but at the low end of 2xx$ you should be ok....
those fixxed 20 round mags are also pretty rare nowadays....

I have seen a stainless barreled shorty NFA M16 shot out in a weekend, I have shot an unlined chromoly barrel that would keyhole after what we estimated was 3000-4000rds but the only Chrome Lined barrels I have seen shot out were on belt fed machineguns and surplus military parts kits(like a nice Romy RPK kit I almost bought)If you don't plan on shooting it every weekend for the next 20 years you could use any barrel you wanted.sopmod, i'm not trying to disagree for fun but have you personally ever seen a chrome molly barel, or a chrome lined that was "shot out" and would not pass the bullet drop test,....i'm looking for this in an ar type weapon or something reasonable.....i have 2 questions....
your 3000-4000 round barrel, how long was it used for, how much time, what kind of cleaning?
and besides this one, have you ever seen a non nfa ar get shot out, with proper cleaning and maintenance....
sorry to say if my guns barrel was shot out after 3000 rounds i would be talking to the manufacturer...

i tried to tell yall weeks ago to use your factory hammer.......if you do this there is no modifications.....
people buy stuff they already have, and cant figure out why the new thing doesn't work right.......its because it wasn't made for your gun....
its close.....well you dont use ar parts in a fal.....so why use rifle parts that arent made for your shotgun?

best be gettin that amd front grip hole welded up.....this draco nonsence has made people forget all that has been hashed out about regular ak pistols.....that handguard with that hole makes a aow.....weld up the grip nut hole and your good.....

i got shiz tons of gi mags i dont know whats wrong with them but i got like 8 center industries ban marked niw for like 70 bucks at a flea market, and i got 4 used unmarked and 3 of the old 20's for like 40 bucks.....somehow....somehow they work...the magpul vendor i talked to at the gunshow swore they would not work without upgrade and all but they must be defective cuz they been flawless.....

compare it to your mindset with the fucked up parachute...did you do what you wanted how you wanted....
if so
make your firearms training as good as hyour parachute training, hope, watch, and pay fucking attention and you'll most likely be ok....

i was going off how my 6 inch handles.....and theres other ways to fix the piston problem.....

the shorter the ak pistol the quicker the follow up shot...remember the recoil aint too bad cuz about 60% of the boom is going on after the bullet has already left..

^^^ thats what made me ask the question...since its a fram filter that is not special at all and the adapter is the thing that turns it into a "deadly silencer " lol
.......check on it cuz i will drop the 200 on the adapter marked if that is legit...

in the future use krylon camo paint it has the "fusion" technology and is made for wood metal and plastic....and its super flat and has the spray powder finish...

the 1 will be turned out the half turn more(than 2) on a stock saiga.....
when you screw it all the way in it wont hit 1 turn it back and thats #2, turn out 1 half turn and then your at 1.....the plug goes a ways into the block, i wonder if this doesn't cause people problems they have over tightened the plug to get to 1.....

i think it has something to do with the finish having more surface area for rust to grab compared to the smooth metal
and yeah remove your stuff and you will get rust...remember thats why your guns have you, to keep the rust off of them.....
some some parts are more prone than others....my damn ar saftey turns "orange" quickly....but it wipes right off
my buddy has an ar with a orange tint he doesn't see it but i do...

wouldn't you want the engraving on the adapter so when your can starts to get loud you could "clean" your baffles....

you can use just about any fcg you want, some have to be "reshaped" some have to be fit a little....
in my s-12 i run the stock hammer and a tapgo g2 double hook.....i had it sitting around so when i converted it was the cheapest fcg i could get....
now for the 2nd poster saying the tapco disconector has to be modified i would almost call bullshit.....
but when i put my trigger in i actually had to open up the trigger hole a little.....didn't have to do anything to the disconector and i've put tons on lead downrange b4 and after the conversion it works fine...

i have to shoot long guns lefty and i'd venture to say the ak series can be used better left handed..... theres a reason why they make charging handle swap side kits and epople do that themselves too
