ok so along time ago before the ban sunset....i bought a rifle at a gun show....advertised as a good 7.62x39 shooter....got it for 150 or 175 cant really remember.....
well then i found this place bvamp came around, shiek had posted the cross conn website
people were screaming for anything other than 5 round s12 mags, and there was no saiga aftermarket......
everyone was great we even chatted a little when chat first showed up....
at some point some bastard said to himself i'm going to make and sell mags for these shotgun guys......agp happened
people were trying to make drums out of sidewinders and 2 round mags, hell the word drum was almost a no no people screaming dd.....
i dropped off the forum for a while and came back and posted some stuff about the izzy chokes, the place was weird then so i didn't stick around very long.....
i wanted to come back and check out "my old stomping ground" and this place is nothing like it used to be, people are making all sorts of shit, selling all sorts of shit, and it seems like the place went tits up,
you cant post a wtb or wts unless you pay
people are thought to be selling shit just cuz they post a picture?
it just seems strange....
agp bailed? tapco makes you buy from other people? we see pics of non converts with hi cap mags?
dimples in the saiga's motherfuckers saying sai-guh....damn thing is a sega.....
so why is does the place seem so different? why all the changes in rules....
and before i get a question why i talk shit and only have a few post, the people who been here since before most of our mods will know my name............right bvamp(not a knock just wonder how many people seen up the barrel of his taurus, or gave him the idea to saiga-12 up a snowman)?

i just sold my 10mm compact....it wouldn't function properly with high pressure loads....it loved the slow 200 grainers but would choke on my handloads and silvertips....
the manual for all witness handguns says they are not rated for +p it says it on the front page.....no 38 super +p no 45+p no real 10mm loads....
nice gun but not what i needed....

i have been doing research on the sog and have come across some funny m16 mag pictures, at the time they only had 20's so its either one of two things....
1. the yards attached a ar-ak mag to get some good capacity, 20rdss on auto was like 4 burst.....
2. they were using special ak mags to work in the m16 platform....
#2 is wrong tho, if they wanted to hide the sound of the rifles from the enemy they would just carrys aks....
i'll ask one of my sog friends what the deal is he was in a picture with one of these funny mags....

i got a t-6 from a friend who said he didn't like it, well i didn't either cuz it pinched my face...well i got a 4-pos body and cut a couple inches off the tapco tube and put the smaller car stock on and it works great...now if someone tries to adjust it too far they pull it off, but its a very tight fit.. so i just leave it when i need it for the most part..

i would also like to add......
i use the 0,5 choke when i choke.....
at home i just muzzle nut it.....
make sure and shoot what you have on hand(or use carry whatever)
make sure you know how it patterns/how it hits compared to your sights
choose shiz that patterns good in YOUR gun
each has its own purpose, but put it to paper and make sure it does what you want it to...
my hd load is i belive win super whatever 1600fps bb load.....with the 0,5 at ~10yards it will do like 6-8 or so inches...
it doesn't upen up that much more with nothing on the end....but it cycles 100% on setting 1 and when i shoot steel with it i know i hit and know it hit hard.....

the catch works so that is what matters...
and kit+reciever+8mags 660$.....removable carry handle 40...so call it 700....

well, so i had shot a buddys m4rgery and kinda liked the thought of a low recoil gun...
i did some shopping around and i ended up buying a del ton mid length carbine kit
after ordering it i procured a tactical innovations lower....got it for 99 couldn't pass it up....
so after a week of waiting for the kit to be built, and another week waiting on ups....snow in texas damn ups....
well other than the roll pins being tight as hell it went together smooth....
after looking the kit over and doing some research MY del ton is made of some of the following parts....
cerro forge upper
non f marker fsb but it does come with the taller front sight
a wilson 1x9 5.56 chambered hbar...non chrome lined my ak is still my shtf gun
and a civilian spec reciever extension....
i shot it for the first time today (and now just realizing i left my camera at my buddys range and will have to post pics later)
got it zeroed at 50 yards for a 200bz and the damn thing was making one ragged hole after i got it to poa/poi, i had a steel rack behind the zero target and if it wasnt for the steel i would have thought i was missing...the del ton was amazingly accurate...this was with brass cased monarch from academy....
i wont lie guys, it made me a little wet, i'll get some pics up....
if you do a build with a tactical innovations t15 ( t-15) it will work great but the bolt catch it a little tight.....

i found it, and i'm c&p'ing the whole damn thing.....i'll link to it at the bottom....funny thing is people ask about the chokes all the time and when i posted this it got 0 response.....
heres is what i've been able to find out.....
Non-American shotguns (12 GA.) normally have a true bore diameter of approximately .005 less than US barrels or generally have a true bore diameter of .725
^this is taken from a chart i found on a few choke tube makers websites and other places around the web...
but, i also have a dial caliper that i hope is accurate like it is supposed to be, and i have a saiga 12 and i have all but the paradox choke
so here is the rundown of the measurements i've been able to gather and how they compare with "understood" measurements
ok, my "cylinder bore" iz109 has a bore that measures .724, this is skeet 1 size in an American barrel
my 0,0 "cylinder bore" screw on choke measures up to .722 which is .002 looser than improved cylinder(.720)
my 0,5 "modified" screw on choke is .700 which is tighter than improved modified(.704) and looser than full(.694)
my 1,0 "full" screw on choke squeezes tight at .679 which is .050 down from a true 12ga bore of .729 and a whole .010 tighter than accepted extra full(.689)

the ruskie chokes are tighter than they are supposed to be, and i think the cylinder bore of the bbl is like .003 under true cylinder....i did a good write up on all the choke measurements and bbl measurements years back
