Thank you for for the responses. I have an AK gas tube with unknown made. The over all length of the tube is shorter than my Saiga. Plus, on the rear-sight end of the tube, it slants at a deeper angle then the Saiga. Is this mean I have the pre-1959 gas tube?

I searched the forum, but still unsure about this. For my conversion, I also want to replace the hand guards. I wonder what gas tube will directly fit my Saiga 5.45? Thank you
