  1. Mike welcome aboard, I too love this forum. So many members here are awesome!!!! I "believe" one of the companies that classic arms uses for conversions is Century Arms???

  2. Thank goodness, ordered mine a couple weeks ago and was wondering when it was going to ship.

    UPDATE:

We finally got these in today. We have actually had them for a couple weeks but we were not happy with the anodiziing. When they were anodized as a complete unit, the rinse chemicals would drain out onto the new finish and streak it. We ended up having to disassemble them all, redo the anodizing and then reassemble them. Sorry for the delay as many of you have had these on back order for a few weeks. I have to so.....they came out looking great and I believe you will agree it was worth the additional wait. They will begin to ship out tomororrw.

    Again sorry for the delay.

    Scott

  3. Amen to that brother!!! Definitely superior Customer service, and might I add even if I email him a question he answers right back pretty fast(aka 10pm at night) I give them five stars!!!!

Yes, Greg and CSS leave nothing to be desired in the customer service area from my experience. I have parts on the way from him as I write this. Now, if he only sold insurance, cell phone service, internet service, cars...etc., etc.

  4. Ok guys just want to thank all of you for the feedback, but I found the problem(I'm a tard) on the right side of the reciever it lines up perfectly but on the left side it's off by a good amount. So I took out my caliper and measured each side from the front of the mount to the first screw threads. Well to my surprise one side read .22 of an inch and the other side measured .32 of an inch. The damn F-----G thing is cut wrong!!!!! So I contacted Greg at CSS and am awaiting his response. God please tell me I donot have to pay to ship this back and wait for a replacement! Wanted to go shooting on Tuesday! Again Ty all for your help. Love this forum!!!

  5. Yeah that's my biggest fear, that the bolt head won't conceal it. Wish me luck and thanks for your help.

Well I guess worse case you get the holes welded up and a tromix receiver plate welded on if it doesn't work out the way you like. I just hope you doent have to take off more than the bolt head will hide. Good luck.

  6. Spoke with Greg, and this is what I have to do. He said it's common that receivers aren't always the same spec? :-( bummer!!

Yeah I did use that video at first. But my side reciever holes are off a little. My block does fit in the reciever flush but I think I'm gonna have to egg shape my side reciever holes to get it to line up. Thanks for the help.

    I don't want to assume you've seen it so, there's a vid about installing this part here;

Maybe send it back or email Greg befor doing shit to your gun. May be an off spec part you got there boss.

  7. Ok guys need your help. I cut off my tang on my s12 and got it perfectly flush then when I put the adapter in the holes on the reciever/adapter doesnt line up unless I back it out about 1/16 of an inch?it's a 2012 s12. Will it be ok to mount it like this? Thanks in advance. Sorry can't post pics at this time.

Great to see you active in this post. Ty,now down to buisness. What's your ETA on your aluminum lower? I know,I know,I know you get this asked all the time.......

    Two years too late

We built two shotguns with AR10 lowers long ago.

One was a dpms lower with a 20 ga upper piston driven

And a Rock River lower with a 12ga upper also piston driven

Both worked.. and yes 308 mags can be made to function, but a new mag would be required for any real production.

Also feed ramps were not required.

I have had a functional design for a stand alone AR based 12 ga for quite some time, long before the MKA

Every part is machined from bar stock, and it would be quite costly to make, but there is Nothing like it.

  10.

I striped out my Forearm nut, contacted them in about two weeks recieved a new one. Took a little perserverance but I got it!!!!

Try calling Jim at Firebird and see if he has any ideas

I am surprised of the few ppl I know here and one friend that had a prob with their MKA they were all handled fast.

I am now selling some preban shotshells with lead shot. PM me for details! These rare shells include teflon coated #8 shot which congress discovered can pierce bullet proof vests, and light armor.

I may also be able to acquire some rare hypervelocity 6mm polymer shot! each .2 gram pellet moves far faster than lead and cannot be found for sale anywhere!
