Thanks, all, for the input! I've put my list together and I'm ready to order. I think I'll try making the trigger guard myself, or modifying the original one...$18 seems a lot for a small piece of stamped steel. Ah, crap...I realized that stock wont work with the pistol grip. Guess I either gotta find another stock or lose the pistol grip.

I'm going to shoot the Saiga in stock form before I convert it, just to see what it's like, but I definitely plan on converting it. Couple of questions, though. I've never modified firearms before, but I am handy enough that I think I can do this. Other than this page, are there any good places for instruction? Do the conversion kits come with instruction? Second, I'd like an opinion on the parts. I like this kit...are there any issues with this? Will there be anything else I need to get for the conversion? I also put together a piecemeal part list, but it's quite a bit more e
