  1. Awesome, I'll show my buddy when he's over sometime this week. Should I bore the existing ports to 3/32?
  2. Hey guys, Sorry about the late response... I've been pretty busy and also pondering on all the info. Also, I've got a buddy who has a drill press in his shop but he has no experience using it at any sort of angle so if anyone has pics of the setup they used it would be a huge help! What exactly is the proper angle or do most of you just try to match the existing ports? The ports are drilled towards the muzzle so that when a 5/64 bit is inserted the bit sticks up towards the gas tube is this correct? Should I drill out the other 2 ports to 3/32? they're right at 5/64 right now. Anyone have a

So... after sending my 1&1/2 port gun (half of one was covered by the gas block, it is a 2 port gun) back to the importer and having it sent back with a polished action and nothing done about the gas system I've decided to drill the ports myself. My question is how many and what size. The two existing holes cannot fit a 3/32 bit through them. I don't want to over-gas, I just want the minimum to get through and function. I also may want to later have the barrel cut to 14.5 with a permanently attached muzzle break. Can I open up the ports enough to make it work as an 18in setup without shoot
