  1. After contacting a couple of members that have/use the Russian made Saiga skeleton stock and love it I went ahead and ordered one. Great stock! Much better than expected. I noticed there is a cap on the bottom of the PG and when I removed the screw I found a nicely designed storage area. As the AK type screw holding the cap on was just too tight to make field removal easy so I made a thumb screw and and D&Ted the screw hole so now I have easy access to the compartment. I store two batteries for my red dot and 6' of 550 para-cord with room to spare. Funny thing is unless I just miss

I'm surprised I've not seen a conversion here using a Chi-Com, Bulgarian, or Hungarian "fat" PG with the metal top cap. New Saiga-20

Hi, I picked this used EEA 22" S-20 up today w/two (76mm & 70mm) mags and would like to know a few things. *How can you tell how it's choked? I see a F (0.9)on the receiver, is it full choked? *I see the year 2000 on it. Is that when it was made? *I'm not intrested in converting it but would like to shoot it now and again in it's orgional form. In both 2 3/4" and 3" what are the best shells (shot and charge weight) to use for dependable cycleing. I'm not so much worried about cost and would like to use a quality high brass #5 or #6 shot shell with enough power to cycle the
