Guess I am going to be the only fool. It's ok. I wanted a 9mm AK. Not a Tavor or anything else. Might get a Tavor one day as I don't see them going anywhere. I just found 6old Uzi mags that are already modified to work. I couldn't be happier with it and my initial impressions of it are goods. It is a great start to my 9mm collection. Eventually would like to have a POF MP5, a scorpion evo, and a 9mm Tavor. Already have a pps43c. thankfully I scraped together enough to afford the pistol. Would liked to have had the triangle folder but couldn't afford it.

Felt the need to bling the Mossy 930SPX
So I had the barrel tapped for rem-chokes (if Mossberg wanted me to use accu-chokes they would have threaded it at the factory)
Ordered 5 Carlson's chokes (for both the 930 and 2 other shotguns I'm having threaded for rem-cokes)
Ordered a Mesa Tactical Urbino 2-tone stock
Ordered a Nordic barrel clamp
Installed a rail on the forend and mounted an AFG
Ordered a variety of buckshot ammo to test through the new chokes
Some people say a fighting shotgun doesn't need a choke. Just use Federal Vital Shock or Hornady Critical Defense that gives tight patterns with no choke. I like to have options.
How much did the barrel tapping cost you?
I wouldn't mind having that done to my Maverick 88. It would be sweet to be able to use chokes with it.
Ordered one of these last night. WhiskeyMinion got me thinking about a 9mm AR pistol and something like that has been missing in my collection since I failed to acquire the 9mm tavor kit. being this is roughly what it would cost for an AR pistol or the tavor conversion kit, I am ok with the price.

Sorry man didn't see that link but now I'm sorry I even asked thanks anyways but I still think I'll save my money and do it myself I'm not worried about recrowning and don't worry I wasn't cutting under 16 and if I was I'd get some kind of muzzle device welded to make up the difference, thanks again for all your trouble sir and sorry for the inconvenience and misunderstanding
No worries. sorry if I came off harsh. I was frustrated because I didnt realize you were talking about cutting the barrel yourself and really its just a bad idea IMO if you dont have the license, tool, skillset. Not saying you dont, and no offence, but thats just it, I dont know you and have to assume you dont have any of them. And again, no trouble at all. hope I was of help to you.

Whoops. I misunderstood your wants. Like AZG said look for the 102/105 GB. I was thinking you wanted it more like the slr104 krink style for some reason. My bad.
I dont think you did. He did mention making like the standard 106 which I assume is the SLR-106FR. And thats the confusing part, the letters. If you dont know them.
CR = front sight gas block model.
F= AKS-74 style model with folder with out the scope rail
FR= with scope rail
UR = Krink
U = no scope rail
I think.
Its all good regardless.

(Sigh)
I got the gas block from kvar.
Again, I would NOT use the krinkov/KR008b. Use the one I already posted a link to if that's what you decide to do. Cutting the barrel that short(under 16") will make you a felon unless you are a licensed 07 manufacturer. I recommend you have one do it for you. Not to mention if you screw the crown up you will have all sorts of trouble.

Facepalm
Best tip I can give you, have a licensed professional do the work
I likey the cleaning rod on that where did you get your gas block at?Cleaning rod was just an old cleaning rod that I cut down to fit for looks. You can buy them the correct length but it will cost you.

the one from kvar will work, just not the krink, unless you're making a krink. Otherwise the one like I have posted:So one if those kvar ones wouldn't work? So what about to make it like a standard 106?

You will obviously have to redrill the pin holes with a 3mm cobalt drill bit if the pinholes don't line up.

Have you tried out the NV?
No, don't have it yet and word is it's only for display.
I could probably get it to work if I found the right parts.OK, I'm curious... Is this just for your collection of militaria or do you intend to use it if serviceable?
And does it work?

Wow.... very cool AZG!
Big bucks I'm sure.
Thanks! Being burried with this instead of a casket

AK-N Polish Type 3 milled Night Fighting rifle with NSP-2 IR Polish-made night vision scope
Keep an eye on the WTS section. selling off some of my personal collection.

you will need a bulgarian front sight gas block combo for the 102/105 model. NOT a krink front sight gas block. its too short. If you can find a russian one, even better but those are unobtainium right now. I have a WTS thread up with the correct gas block. basically a SGL106cr but not an SGL but Saiga.

2nd I have a Bulgarian AKS-74 LOCAL TRADE PENDING
Built by myself on a childers receiver which were 80% Polish Military blanks and Childers heat treated them and made the 100% US/Polish Military receiver.
I had originally planned on keeping this but found something I didnt think I would ever find and now this is going to help offset that. I built this for my self so I took extra time and care to make sure the sights were dead on so I bore sighted and then further sighted in the front sight post before it was drilled and pinned. I then cleaned sandblasted, parkerized, and applied a few coats of duarcoat HK black to finish it up. has not been fired since and is in new condition.
Features:
2nd Y stamp and I stamp only found on late factory/military/top shelf receivers
Bulgarian selector markings and selector notches
1000m Bulgarian rear sight leaf
Dimpled AK trigger guard
All numbers matching rifle, even receiver.
US chrome lined barrel good for corrosive 7n6 surplus ammo or commercial non corrosive.
Tapco US G2 trigger group and piston
US plum kvar hand guards
More rare and desirable rolled edge ribbed buttplate 4.5mm bulgarian triangle folding stock
Bulgarian sling
Comes with bayonet
Option: I have a bulgarian wood handguard set if you prefer that over plum. wont affect 922r as the parts count is 7
Sorry for any inconvenience but I am only accepting IMMEDIATE payment via: Paypal, Discret Gift option(nothing in comments) or +4% otherwise, USPS money order sent 2-3day priority mail with tracking.Now $850 + $35 shipping and insurance.Please PM me with any questions.I ask that if you are going to buy, please post "Ill take it" in the thread and follow up with a PM.Sorry, no ban states, know your local laws before posting.crossposted
