Saiga 7.62x39 Modified Handguard to fit the MI rail, you can't use a different handguard. Lower handguard retainer was mounted too close and I had to grind the retainer down.

Just like the title says. Getting harder and harder to find these. This is the one that's off-center of the receiver and allows you to use your irons.
No issues with reticle or noticeable scratches.
I don't get to shoot enough at distance to take advantage of it.
I can take ULTRA discreet PP +4% or USPS Money order

Atlantic Firearms have a nice AK74 style Saiga on sale right now for $459 and free shipping. Already has the 24mm threads at the end of the barrel for a muzzle brake.
Here's mine I bought from them. Installed a Tapco T6 $40 from e*bay, NCstar side rail $25, Red Dot scope $25. Right at $550 for a nice looking Saiga, if I must say so myself.
Actually top two are the pic of the rifle before my mods.
Coming in right around $600 after I bought the two 30 round mags and a sling.

I have a converted Saiga (complete including front end) and I am glad I did it, but i won't do it again, unless Saiga's get to the $150 mark again. I still have it, but I now have two SGL31s and an SGL21. I got them from Grabagun, $783 and $730 DELIVERED. I have an FFL that does $12 xfers (no matter how many guns).
I like my conversion, but love my SGLs

G2 carrier group but the bullet guide is tack welded in. I would rather buy one myself and do the conversion for $299. I would like to tap/screw or rivet the guide in myself, so I know it was done right.

Up for sale is this Midwest Industries AK mini-mount FOR AIMPOINT MICROS
This is the REVISED mount and has the pinion screw that securely clamps it down on the trunnion.
It has been mounted but shows no signs of wear.
I love it, but I bought 3 of them and decided to only use them on one of my AK's

Anyone have a definitive answer on whether the 22mm FSB from KVAR will work on a .223 Barrel. I'm looking at the new .223 Saigas from Classic.
