Thanks for the info guys... I just ordered my parts... I am also thinking of putting on the Galil forend in the future.. I ordered a bake on enamel Laquer from Brownells for a refinish... & also a Mojo appeture rear sight... I'm sure I will have questions about how to replace the sight in the future. LOL

Hello, I'm knew to the board... Just bought a 7.62x39 Saiga... This will be my first conversion... I have read all the "how tos" but am confused about how many US compliance parts I need to stay legal... I would like to use cheaper surplus ak mags. I have read at MWA that to do an ak build it takes 7 us parts... but on here most say that you need only 4 on the saiga... Is that 4 plus a US made mag? I plan on using a tapco folding stock & G2 FCG for the 4 parts plus a saw pistol grip... do I need more US parts to use surplus mags?
