Ok, so I was talking to this guy who some junior Olympian gold medalist shooter. He were having a discussion on cleaning guns. I told him I cleaned my rifle and barrel after every trip to the range. He says that NOT cleaning the barrel will make it more accurate, because the carbon will fill the imperfections in the barrel and your shots will shoot more consistently due to this. What he says does make some sense, however, that was the first time I've ever heard someone advocate AGAINST cleaning a rifle. As the title says, its the short barrel Saiga .308. The gun has the BHO and is an EAA import. I have the manual and paperwork that came with the gun. It comes with the 8rnd clip shown in the picture. I'm looking to sell it for $300. Its only had about 500 rounds shot through it. I've cleaned the gun after every trip to the range.

Wow, the Title II Saiga looks unbelievable. With the Title I,what kind of high cap mag is it using?

I think $388 is kinda steep for the PG conversion. I would do it myself, but I don't have the machinery/tools to do it, and I don't know anyone that has the tools/machinery required to do it. Anyone on the board doing these PG conversions? I know about the step-by-step instructions on cross-conn but I think I remember someone saying that some of the steps on there are different with the 308 saiga. Please send me a PM if you are don't mind making a few bucks doing a PG conversion on my Saiga.

Its time to buy some more 308 for my Saiga. I've been using Aussie Surplus, and those have been great. However, I can't seem to find many sites that still have them. What is good ammo and who has the best prices? I've seen 308 surplus in Indian, Portugese, Brazillian, etc...

Its a plain black 308 Saiga. With 1 8round clip. Only about 100 rnds shot through it. The closest rifle range to me is like an hour away and you have to shoot through these stupid conrete/rubber tire tunnels/tubes. I have the papers for the gun. I'll even throw in a lockable hard case for it. The only blemish on the gun is where the safety rubs against the gun when you turn it on and off. I was thinking $300 or best offer.
