Thanks! I didn't know CNC Warrior made some. As a mini update, I've seriously considered this one, too.
-
I'm not certain but I think you can get extra strong mag springs from Wolff.

Looks like one of the numerous look-alikes on the market today. CNC Warrior makes some as well. I've bought from them for many years. Pretty good stuff. Nothing that breaks the rules of gravity but still pretty good. Usually also cheaper to buy from them. Great customer service too. Every time I call a person answers who's in the shop actually making the stuff. I'm holding out for the soon-to-appear 24mm Battlecomp.

Sorry to thread jack, but im looking for an extended forearm to mimic the stock handgaurd but would allow me to use a magpull afg. What "extended" forearms fit a saiga? Do the universal ones work?
Which Saiga do you own? Standard AK handguards fit only after adding an handguard retainer. Try CSS, linked above.

Apex does take money orders if it means anything.

Thanks for the input although I was trying to stay away from polymer.

I was wondering the same. Mine is WAAAAY too long.

You never can tell what kind of person is on the other end, typing, can you?

Great job man. Easy, eh? As a general rule it's best to back out every 1/4 turn.

As long as you have the tap you need, you can even use a wrench as a handle. lol It's not rocket science.

Personally I can't justify the cost of buying an entire set of anything if I will only need to use one tool, adapter, etc from a set. If it were me, I'd try the cheapest route first.

I agree. Very sharp and modern looking.

Thank you for the input.

Thanks for the info. I did a quick Google search and found their site. I didn't have a folder in mind but it is a nice looking assembly.

So I decided I want to add a collapsible stock to my 5.45 but I don't know which I should choose. Any of these better than the rest?
Any others I should consider? Anyone with first hand experience? What say you? Thanks.

I was reading over some previous threads and I was reminded of these. Maybe you'll see something you could use.

So for visualization sake, here's all three you mentioned. Looks like the more the gas block is covered the more you're going to pay. FWIW, the three you mentioned seem to be the only ones around.
Midwest Industries.
Here is the railed version installed.

Use moly resin do it yourself and its better 20 dollar airbrush at harbor freight and some break cleaner to get the paint off.
+1 John Norrell Arms is half an hour away from me. I was going to see if he'd do my M590A1, my Saiga and a few other guns.

Mine had dimples and the channel for the handguard retainer pin wasn't cut. Can't answer the other Q's. Take it for what it's worth.
I had a great experience with Centerfire Systems. Ordered it on a Monday and it was in my hands on Wednesday. That was even including the time it took for me to mail off a money order and called to add on to my order. I was highly impressed.

Good review Red Star. I havnt been on in a while due to school and working, so I just now read it. I will be picking one up after my wedding in a few weeks I think. Should be able to conjure up some money.
You think so, huh? Plans are already made for all your paychecks from here on out! lol

You can do a simple Google search and turn out several results. Even Hornady makes ammo.
