What are the differences in the 2 3/4 and 3" guns

I guess i Just missunderstood an add. Makes sence why I dould not find any information. If I get 3' mags I can shoot 3 inch shells and vice versa -
I was just wandering if there are any differences other than the barrel between the 2 3/4 and 3" chamber models. Thanks
