Yeah I considered finding myself a gunshow since I have heard of sellers there with stacks and piles of Saigas, but I haven't had the cash to go to one in quite a while. Thanks for the advice, that's high on my list of options right now.

Afternoon guys. I bought a Saiga x39 a few years back and have thoroughly enjoyed plinking with it. Although I never joined the Saiga 12 forums, I have lurked for a long time, especially in the 308 section in the last couple weeks. I have been looking for a Saiga 308 standard (IZ137). I talked to my local gun shop about it and they reported their distributors have none and aren't expecting any from the factory. What gives? Are the 308s really that hard to get these days ? About the cheapest I've seen with avilable sites has been $450--anyone know if that's typical? Thanks guys, I hope
