  2. "Ignoring for a minute that it’s inside the trigger guard which is a huge safety concern to some people, the role reversal means that there’s no easy way to lock the bolt open when the gun runs dry. You need to insert and empty magazine and then rack the action back, which is an extra step for something so crucial."

This guy has absolutely no business reviewing guns if he thinks this is the only way to lock the bolt back. It took me about all of 3 seconds to figure out how to lock the bolt open on my Vepr-12 without the use of an empty magazine.....Probably just another AR fan boy....

  3. The canis will not come with a buffer tube. You must thread one on. I have the none folding version on a vepr 308 and I like it a lot. I believe the Canis folds to the left.

I just received confirmation from Carolina Shooter that the Buffer Tube is fixed, so that will not work. Now to confirm the Canis adapter.

  4. Are you still looking to have a chop and perm performed?

I asked my SOT FFL to cut my Vepr barrel and pin on the 5+ " Russian copy brake so the overall Length would be the the legal length without having to be a tax stamped SBS! . But he said he could not get the barrel off or out of the receiver as it is pressed in the receiver ! So no go !

  5. Mullet man-are you referring to the vltor? My ar stocks are all milspec and I really like the look and design of the Canis. They make a non folding version as well. The pistol grip nut clamps down on it locking it securely in place with the addition of a tang nut and bolt. I just don't trust the rifle dynamics part but that is one persons opinion. post-27494-0-89947100-1396968645.jpg
