  1. Topmaul, i had problems with my Saiga-12 shooting about 8-12" low. I removed the rib, leaving the threaded stud from the adjustment wheel on the front and the ears left in the rear dovetail. I bore-sighted it and it appears to be right on. I'm going to test sight it this weekend. It seems like it will be pretty quick to sight. If it works, I'll shape ithe front into a sight post and paint it with sight paint. Jeff
  2. ny, I'm originally from Bethpage, my grandparents had a summer house in Hampton Bays. I learned to shoot at the Calverton range in Suffolk County. Where in Nassau are you? Where do you shoot? My uncle still lives in Medford and has been trying to get me into 3-gun, after I did Cowboys for 5-6 years. Sorry to hear you're unhappy with the Saiga. How many rounds do you have through it? Does it jam on setting 1 or 2? With what ammo? The best thing I found with mine was to treat it like the bitch it is. Shoot the crap out of it. Use high brass rounds with lotsa ass behind them. Can't hurt an
  3. Howdy to all, I'm new to the forum, been lurking for a while, just figured out how to get logged in. NY, I also bought one (two, actually) of the 17.2" guns from the last shipment. ( Prvt Pyle rocks!) I converted mine to pistol grip, and TAPCO folding stock. When I first shot mine, the mag jammed WHILE LOADING, let alone even getting to shooting it. I took it apart and sprayed the inside surfaces of the mag with "Ms. Moly" spray. It is now slicker than *&^%! You could probably even use Rem-Lube Dry Spray. It has not since jammed or glitched , other than low power loads on setting 2
  4. TopGlock, I spoke with someone at TGS (Mark?) today and confirmed that I still wanted my s-12, in spite of the soldered-on choke. That said, can I request a modified tube be installed before it is soldered? Just a preference, second choice is improved cylinder/cylinder bore. Third choice--'don't give a s***! because it'll get a muzzle brake at that point. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Seems RAA should give everyone a free mag (8-rounder) for the trouble. "Yeah, right" I'm just pleasantly surprised ATF is playing to be part of the solution at this point. Thanks Jeff
