1911vm

This all started after a long debate between a friend of mine who is LE and me. I was talking about 7.62 x 39 being an excellent self defense round and would be a great LE caliber. So the only way I know how to win a debate without a fist is data so this is what I am collecting. If anyone would like to add a good argument I will take it. Thanks PS.In the house or apartment I personally will take 12gage all day long. Saiga 12 works very well.

First thanks for the awesome info but I guess I should have explained in more detail I am trying to do research on use of 7.62 x 39 for LE application. For example one of the reasons some departments are using .223 is it will not over penetrate as some of the 9mm sub guns. So I am going to perches a lot of samples to do testing. Please continue with your advice thanks.

Does anyone know what type or make of 7.62 x 39 would be the best CQB defensive ammo? The concerns would over penetrating I.e. sheet rock or other light medium. Thanks

Ok I figured out what MAA is but it seems to be a stock for saiga 410. does it make any differents?

Does any one make A galil type stock for saiga 12 or something that would be considered as a thumb hole stock? Not pistol grip.

Considering the rarity of the camo version, you may want to bump your asking price up $100 I am looking for a fast sale, if it does not go fast I will just list it on gun broker I have seen this go their for 600and more. Which I think is to much.

Thanks but two of the mags I have not even unwrapped yet and they did come with the gun originally it would not be fair to sell them separately. And as far as about the price you think I am to low? Should I raise the price or go to something like gun broker?
