As hopeful as I am, I don't actually believe much will come of anything. It's a sad state our union is in.
Hard to imagine our great nation has become what it has.- 2

I didn't know, and found nothing in my research that said that.
Ah, well shoot. I'd have thought that the information would be out there somewhere.

You should have known it wouldn't fit without a lower handguard retainer.
As far as the upper handguard, what? Are you trying to put it on a Saiga gastube? Of course it doesn't work.- 1

Why weren't other loads working for you? Just getting too large of a group or were you experiencing malfunctions?

1060 is good for a dojo blade.. it holds an edge well enough and forgiving if you don't get a good cut... anything over 1085 and and the steel is so hard, your blade is likely to chip if you cut 'wrong"..
Sure it has a hard edge.. but.. for day to day cutting, I'd go with 1060 or 5160 for mono tempered cutters..
Ronin Katana is my fave (Dojo Pro).. Solid blades for the money.. the "AK's" of the sword world...
I looked that those exact ones. Will probably end up being my next Katana. It's funny that you mention the "AK of the Sword World" because that is exactly how I posed the question when looking for a sword! Haha.
I asked what would be the equivalent to an AK.
They have their scratch and dent sale, soon.. normally a ding on the saya or something minor... perfect for "cutters"... tell Chris @ Ronin Kat that Juggs sent ya...
I'll be sure to mention!

Wow, a very nice FUNCTIONAL blade. I think one of my cousins still has a real 1858 or so British Calvary Saber that supposedly saw active duty for the South during the War Of Northern Aggression. I got to handle it years ago. If the steel could talk. A very nicely balanced deadly edged weapon indeed. Can you shave with your edge? Big edged weapons give me the willies! Yikes!
Portions of the blade are probably shave sharp. It's not got the most even edge on it but the whole thing is sharp. Glides through paper.
I took it out and was cutting milk jugs of water. Need to get or make some cutting mats.

Was getting a little bored with guns. Happens from time to time. So swords caught my attention.
Did a bit of reading and decided on this, a Musashi Kirashawa. 1060 high carbon steel, differentially hardened.
I know Juggernaut has at least one, who else has some swords?

I've been looking at picking up one of the newer PA's with the longer battery life. Been quite happy with my two 06s.

AK Monty, they had a vent rib model that was sold or I'd have gotten that one instead.
That is super sexy! I'd like an auto at some point. Just more than I wanted to spend right now.I've always thought something like this would bend the needle on the cool scale.

Picked up this bit of sexiness over the weekend along with most small parts and a magpul BEV block. Not AK related but sexy nonetheless.

You make anything look good.
Ha! Thanks man!
That's not very tactikul.
So you're going to put a door breacher and heat shield, right?
Nyet, shotgun is fine.

Just wanted to share my latest project. Going to be my first SBS when Trust and everything is complete.
Picked it up as a 28" barrel over the weekend. Cut it down to 18.25" will be putting a bead back on for now until I can finish it off.
Will be cutting about an inch off the stock too and refitting the butt pad. Want to keep it looking classic.Future SBS by Damage Photos, on Flickr

And here I didn't stop at the Magpul booth as I thought there was nothing new worth looking at. Damn.
I would SERIOUSLY consider cancelling the Definitive Arms plan if I could get 5.56 AK mags from Magpul....
I'm going to snag one when it comes out and see if it runs reliably with 5.56. The follower design they're using looks almost identical to the 5.56 follower in the Beryl. If nothing else they may accept Pmag followers.
Awesome. I was considering doing the same.

That's gonna be nice.
I picked up another RS mount. That's about it. Gun money is tight right now.
