  1. Hi folks, Will my my Saiga 12 be compliant if I have: USA Parts: *pistol grip *trigger *hammer *disconnector * AGP mags (floorplate, follower, body) The muzzle IS threaded and I have one of Dizags AK 74 breaks on it. I am using AGP mags. I would like to use Russian buttstock, pistol grip, handguards upper/lower Hard to understand that its not illegal if I remove the USA mag. Just want to ask the experts here to be sure, first time doing one of these. Thanks for your input. Tom
  2. Anyone ever had one of these? They imply they are drop-in for the S12, but on the stock photo the hook on the trigger looks kind of tall. Thanks, Tom
  3. What do most of you do for retaining the hammer and trigger pins on a pistol grip conversion? I have read about the reusing / altering the old retaining spring, and am reading about retaining plates, but can someone please give me the basics, I d sure appreciate some quick advice. Thanks! Best regards and have a great weekend, Tom
  4. What about the trigger or "hammer" limiter? Is it needed if I get the Kvar Arsnal USA FCG set? Is that just for non-pistol grip config? I dont see it in the k-var diagram. Thanks again, Tom
  5. Thank you, I appreciate your help. Can you tell me also if there a difference in the S12 and standard Saiga AK FCG parts like the 922SG and 922S sets at k-var? I cant tell from the stock photos. Thanks again, Tom
  6. I am in the process of converting to pistol grip configuration, and can someone just spell out for me the best, easiest to drop in FCG I can get? I am familiar with the 7.62 AK FCG a little, have taken them out before and replaced them, but the S12 is kind of new to me. Please tell me what to get and how to modify it if needed, I see a lot on the net but its confusing a bit. Thanks very much, Tom
  7. Got a LRBHO S12, and I thought you guys might like to know this. As discussed before, the LRBHO mags have a freakishly high follower and a extra area milled out at the rear, compared to regular mags/drums. The when the bolt is retracted it locks open, and when the mag is removed, the action stays open. The area at the rear of the tower that is removed looks like it was done with a dull hand file after a vodka lunch. Works great with these specialized mags. The older Saiga 5 rounders from a non-LRBH S12 inserted easily and locked into place. They function, but of course will not hold
  8. Hi folks, I saw the tutorials, but am wondering, when removing the gas block, can the 2 pins come out either direction? Thank you for any input. Tom
  9. Hi folks, I want slide to the gas block off enough to get the tube off to send to Dinzag for work, and have a 12 ton press coming. Can anyone please email me or post some pics on the setup and steps to complete this task? I would sure appreciate any help you can provide. Thanks guys! Tom maxim77111@yahoo.com
