Up for sale today is a Tapco T-6 for the 10/22. It is tastefully modified, pics will show. I chopped a little material off of the bottom of the pistol grip, and the bottom of the buttstock. The actual "frame" of the stock has not been modified, just the grip and stock, that can be replaced if desired. The pistol grip also has a rubber plug inserted on the inside. I have also added some sling attachment points, borrowed from the parts bin. The forward loop is from a Saiga 12, the rear from a Bulgarian AK buttstock. The front has some heat shrink on it to keep it quiet; it can be easily removed. I run a Magpul MS3 on it, and it works great. I DO NOT have the straight "buffer tube" for this stock, it was missing when I bought it. The angled tube works great with iron sights, but is fine for other optics too. The stock is in excellent condition, no noticeable scratches or dings. It will come with the integral rail cover installed. This is a newer model, with the "non-waffle style" buffer tube, that also has a built in storage compartment. Only reason I'm selling is to fund another build.

Asking $75 shipped. SOLD SOLD SOLD

If you want, I'll also include a matching Tapco stubby VFG, in excellent condition, for an extra $10, making it $85 shipped.
If you want the VFG separately, $15 shipped. SOLD SOLD SOLD

  3. I have an older Remington 870 Wingmaster 20 gauge. It's just an old beater, and was thinking about spiffying it up a bit and converting it into a HD shotgun. I would like to change the 28" vented rib barrel out, into a 18.5" smooth barrel, but ran into a dilemma. Turns out that older 870 20 gauges are built on 12 gauge frames. That means a brand new 20 gauge barrel is too small to fit into the receiver. A 12 gauge barrel fits fine, but obviously isn't compatible using 20 gauge ammunition. My only choice is to either find one on Gunbroker, which I have been looking about twice a week for a couple years, or modify my current one. I've given up on the search and have decided that if I want to do this, I will have to modify my current barrel. I have seen a few tutorials and such, but would rather have a professional do the job. If I mess it up, then the gun is just junk because I can't find another barrel.

My question is, is there a vendor here that would be able to cut this barrel down to 18.5", and remove the vented ribs? I have a buddy that refinishes metal, so I can take care of that part. This is somewhat of a budget project and I don't want to pay out the wazoo.

    Thanks.
