  1. Well, time to see my LSA Saiga 12 go to a good home. I bought this about 8 years ago from Mike at Lone Star Arms, custom 12 gauge shotgun with his usual excellent build quality. She shoots fast and furious. I'm posting it up here first for the guys who know what it is, before trying to sell elsewhere. Polished internals, Magpul angled foregrip and a Tromix monster brake helps handle the recoil. This will come with 3 magazines: the stock 5 shell, a 10 shell, and a 12 shell drum mag. In the 8 years I've maybe shot it 400 times, it's been on standby at the house almost all the time.

I seem to remember I paid around $2,400 for it, so I'm thinking it's worth half of that now.

Asking $1,200 + shipping OBO to your choice of FFL.

  2. Berzerkers were those Norsemen that went into battle sometimes painted blue and were basically crazier than regular Vikings. My family heritage reaches back to early Viking colonists settling in England near Yorkshire and Nottinghashire.

Well, Hi cuz! My family roots are from Danish vikings that settled in the East Anglia area, the Danelaw, eastern England. I grew up in Cambridgeshire and Essex, and I'm a bit of a hooligan on the bike, so there you go.

  3. Well, here comes another new guy! I stumbled across a Saiga 12 video a few months ago and got a serious case of the fever. I found one at K-Var and probably paid too much, but at least I have one. After reading a lot of conversion posts on various sites, I decided I wasn't comfortable doing the conversion myself so today I shipped it to Lone Star Arms in New Mexico. Although I'm rather mechanical, I build vintage Harleys, I decided not to fool around with things that go bang. I reviewed everything I could find on Saiga gunsmiths and it seems Lone Star is very well thought of. It appears it will be about a six week wait but from what I have read, it will be worth the wait and the money. Lone Star sure builds a series of beautiful guns, I decided to go with the "Intimidator" model. You can check the various models out at www.lonestararms.com I sure appreciate all the info the longtimers have put on this forum, it sure makes good reading and a great source of info on what will probably be a favorite gun. Fortunately, I have my own 100 yard range and can't wait to run some shells through my new toy. Thanks again for all the hard work and info.

Hi everyone, another new guy here in the Big D area. Moving up from a Rem 870 to an S-12, very excited about it. Very new to the S-12, but I'm jumping in with both feet and going the Lone Star Arms route as well. I pretty much decided on Mike at LSA based on the feedback I read in this forum. Looking forward to getting her in a few more weeks.

Anyone recommend a good range here in the Dallas area? Right now I'm thinking Garland is the best option.
