I have not but will probably invest in a Krink/PAP pistol (7.62x39).

A buddy uses one for his Mossberg... he likes it. I'm not so sure about it. If you're carrying for a backup/additional, I could see using this on your pack. I use something similar for a machete.
As for which brand... yeah, I dunno.

Thanks guys... I appreciate your comments. I think I'll wait until I find something in the $150 range. I'll be waiting a while I'm sure. The two local T36 drums are asking for $250+.

I have to admit that I am very curious about using a drum for my IZ-332... I'd like to hear opinions on the Chinese Triangle 36. Have you used other drums? What did you think of them? "We're" in panic mode at the moment and I see many drums running $200+ while two months ago they were begging to be bought at $100. I hear that the euro drums rattle, and the Korean drums suck, so tell me about your experience with the 36...
I'm approaching this from a novelty aspect...

In SW Austin, TX we have been losing pets left and right (two cats personally). The coyotes have not threatened humans AFAIK. It's a scary notion knowing they're nearby when the kids are out running around.

I want a Draco/Krink too but have to wait. Good advice above though about getting it before to might not be able to own at all.

I don't think that thought comes to mind. From my own experience, I remember considering the options and "if I screw this up, the gun is broken." I did get over that but not until I actually completed the conversion.

This certainly sounds like an instance where the mag gets fitted to the gun... I wouldn't touch the receiver unless a magwell was going in.
(of course no one recommended that BTW... just where my thought went)

I've gotta say that this makes me so happy. Here in central Texas, there have been numerous accounts of midday break ins. These dirt bags think no one is home. A couple patterns have been noticed by my neighbors: 1) thieves have been posting as advertisement flyer distributors and try door handles frequently; 2) the door to door and service people have been casing houses. The thieves are kicking in doors and running with as many electronics as possible. Luckily I have a Vet suffering from ALS living with me to double as a guard; he's great with a .45. I hope my neighbors never have to face this situation. I can imagine the horror that will stick with this family despite the successful defense of their home.
