Are you talking about a Saiga-M? I bought a bolt on handguard retainer from dinzag and installed a traditional handguard. Confirm your barrel diameter before proceeding.

It's a damn shame to see forum membership decrease as drastically as it has the past few years. I thought the only requirement for membership was the desire to own saiga's. Does it really matter what antipsychotic medication you take? Lord knows some of you guys in this thread come off as having a little psychosis yourselves. Should it really matter if you don't pass my smell test?

well how do tell which model you have? I have the following markings on mine:For the record, yes the V12 LRBHO is a direct fit for the S12 030/040's. No it will not work in Iz-108/109's.
SAIGA-12 (obviously)
12/76 18,3
Bolt has a 530 stamped in it
CANTA-12
and I believe a seriAl number ending in 14530
Those are all on the outside of the weapon, if you k ow where exactly I can look to find the model number be it I side or out I'd appreciate the info.
I could get into this deeper and I probably should when time permits. Does your S12 already have a factory LRBHO? If not there's your answer to your original question because you are SOL.

As a precaution, look closely at the image and you will find these are being sold without a heat shield. I know, I was disappointed when mine showed up in the mail.

No, that rail will not work. The railed gas block is a rare bird. If it's a must have you probably would have a better chance finding a gunsmith to modify your current gas block. There was a good example of it being done by another member here but that was a few years back and my google fu isn't up for the task. The mod requires the rail to be welded. An aluminum rail is not the ticket.
As for double AA, some members here have the personality of sand paper. It's better to not take it personal. I think they have gone so long without a woman's touch that they've forgotten how to behave around the company of a woman. Keep asking questions. It's nice to have someone asking technical questions opossed to all the political rants that get posted here.

I have the phantom, the poly framed version of the tactical. For that price buy it and don't look back. The phantom is notorious for having a terrible trigger, I can't comment if the same goes for the tactical. Nothing a little custom work hasn't solved. You should have no issues finding aftermarket mags. Cz OEM mags are expensive. Check out CZ USA...

This is one of the few gun control laws I can almost get behind.
Instead, if your weapon isn't sufficiently secured, is stolen and used in a crime, you should be civilly and criminally liable, to some limited extent. Just failing to report a stolen weapon shouldn't be a criminal offense.
So does that mean having a truck gun is out of the question? What about in the home, do I have to have all my firearms in a safe? If someone breaks into my home and steals my firearms why should I be criminally responsible for what they do with it.
On the flipside Adam Lanza's mother allowed her psychotic son access to her firearms. If she was alive today I would liked to have seen her be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Double check your info as the V12 handguard does not mount up on 030/040's nor is there a retainer out there that supports mounting them up to an Iz-109.
Edited: Maybe I shouldn't be so eager to jump the gun. Mullet man maybe onto something. I do know that the retainers the OP mentioned will not work.

This is what you need. I ordered one and didn't realize it doesn't have a heat shield. It should mount up with no modifications. I can verify it with a friends biuld but you would have to wait when I am free this weekend. I would be willing to sell you mine.
I also have a AK9 handguard for the S12. I am looking to trade for an AK 104/105 fsb. Possibly open to cash...

Fab Defense Zahal angled grip with thumb support. If I wasn't such a damn purist I would have them on all my firearms. I can't describe how amazing the grip is. Just buy one and thank me later...

There is a member on theakforum selling true 103 mags in good condition for $115. Legion usa has new slab sides for $75. Molot usa has metal mags for $30. Aimsurplus has bakelites for $35. If you ask me they are all overpriced. Such is life in the days of sanctions.

The forum put the kibosh on his videos. That ended around the time he was performing muzzle brake comparisons. Apparently there is a vendor or two on here that prefer wearing panties to briefs.
As for him posting, I saw a recent post of his within the last few weeks. I am assuming he's like a lot of contributers who had enough of the shit that goes on around here and has simply stopped posting.
