  1. Question? What mags do the .223 version accept? Can an adapter be used on the Super .223 to accept Ar mags?

They accept VEPR mags. Bullet guides can be added to accept double stack AK mags, but I don't have any clue about AR mas.

  2. You can give me a call at 702-364-8880 x 1 if you would like to place the back order.

Do the VEPRs need a bullet guide to take AK mags (of course other things to be 922r compliant)?

Yes, you need to add a bullet guide for any of the VEPR's to take regular AK mags.

We are already out of the Super VEPR's in .308, but we will take back orders for them. They will be back in 45-60 days. The order has to be paid in full to guarantee this price.
Do I have to call to order or will your web site be updated, in order to allow to place such back orders?

  3. First off, I do try to answer posts. If your are asking a K-VAR specific question and I don't see it feel free to send me a PM or email.

The Supers that we are selling do not have the side mount rail. They instead have a mounting system that is hooked to the top part of the receiver. I was trying to say that while we don't have the mounts for them yet, we will be carrying them soon. If you need to know anything else let me know.

  4. Hey guys we just got the ok to go ahead and take orders for the next batch that are coming in. They will arrive in 45-60 days and they have to be paid in FULL. The only one out of stock at this time is the super in .308. I'll update this as we run out of others.

  7. Sorry I haven't responded in a while guys, but I was at Shot Show last week and then getting caught up on Mon and Tues. The flash hider on the front is fake and hides the rest of the barrel. That FH is pressed and pinned on. There are no threads under it.

A 7.62 version isn't going to happen. I'm sure the demand is there, but we do not have any SLR107-UR's coming in to make them.

If there are more questions I missed please repost them and I'll get them answered.

  8. No VEPR 12's right now. The ones that came in are the VEPR, Super VEPR and VEPR pioneer. The VEPR is in 7.62, 5.45, .223, and .308, the Super is in .223 and .308, and the pioneer is in 7.62 and .223.

  9. You need to change the gas tube out and add the front retainer. If you do these two things than those hand guards will work just fine. The only problem is that getting the retainer into place is not easy. For the 1 piece retainer you would have to remove the front sight post as well as the gas block, then put the retainer on and re-press and pin the other pieces. I have heard there is a 2 piece retainer out there you can use, but I don't have any info on it.

  10. Hello everyone

Here at K-VAR we are proud to present to you our new line of original Mauser style bolt action rifles in small bores. Straight from Zastava Arms in Kragujevac, Serbia. Zastava was originally founded in 1853 and has been producing fine arms ever since. This is the same factory that made the Mauser rifles for Germany during WWI.

I just wanted to make sure that you would be one of the first people that I let know about these great new rifles. They have beautiful walnut wood stocks that are separated into three different grades. These will be Standard, Fine and Premium. The first arrivals to our warehouse consist of .22LR, .22 Win Mag and .17 HMR. We expect several more calibers to come in over the next few weeks.

If you have any questions about these either PM me here, send an email to elliot.milmeister@k-var.com or call me at 702-364-8880 x 1 and ask for Elliot.

  11. I checked again and we do not have any of these trunions in stock. We will be getting a bulgarian shipment sometime in January, but I don't know if any of these will be in that shipment. If we get in any I will be sure to send you a PM through the forum and let you know.

  12. I talked to the tech and he said that the only thing we have is a 5.45 that would probably work for it. He also said though that my might be the bullet guides and not the trunion itself. If you haven't had a gunsmith look at it he said that you should have one take a look.
