I can't edit my original post for whatever reason, but I have a few edits. First, the optic selling for around $750 on kalinka optics isn't the exact same, it has a laser pointer on it. So it's actually about $150 less than that one. Second, a price drop. Was $1600, now selling for $1300 + shipping.
Also, I'm willing to do trades for AK-74 type rifles +/- money.

Up for sale is my Saiga 308 ver 02 rifle. It comes with 5 magazines; One stock 8 rounder turned into a 10 rounder, 3 Uinta 20 rounders, and a CSS Specs 20 gen 2 20 rounder. It also has a POSP 4-10x42 D VariPOSP Rifle Scope bought for $380 and now sold for $750 on Kalinka Optics. It comes with it's own paperwork and carrying bag. The stock is a Black Horse Arsenal Dragunov Composite/Polymer expandable stock. These are real russian dragunov stocks imported and then modified to fit onto an AK platform and also be length adjustable. It also comes with its own paperwork. I replaced the orignal trigger system with a Dinzag Arms Two-Stage trigger. The bipod is a Versa-Pod Model 51 with a Mini-14 mount. It is drilled into the receiver between the forearm and the magazine well. It doesn't hinder the magwell, but there's not much room for fingers.
It pains me to sell this, but I am going to be moving to a newer apartment and the more cushion money the better. The only thing I had left to do to this rifle was to thread the barrel.
I'm asking $1600 + ~$40 with shipping for this rifle package. Will accept Paypal or USPS Money order, or a FTF transaction if you are from Ohio. No trades. Will ship to your FFL, but if your FFL will not accept from a private seller I can work with that. I don't want to split this up either. I do not have the original box, but I do have all the paperwork that went with the firearm and all the accessories. I put probably around 300 rounds through this total, pretty good groups overall.

Carolina Shooters Supply sells a bolt on lower handguard retainer. It's the only one I know of without having to remove your gas block, which is a PITA.

For sale is my PK-AS-V red/black dot combat sight. I bought it late November in 2011. It comes with the camo cover and the original booklet. I lost the sight tool awhile back, but its not needed as you just need an allen wrench. It's in really good condition, with the only blemish being above the front glass as shown in the picture. Up for sale is 5 boxes of Hornady .50 AE 300gr XTP/HP, 20 rounds a box. It has been kept nice and dry in one of my ammoboxes. They usualy go for about $34 a box, but I'm selling them for $20 a box. The whole lot will be $100 plus whatever the shipping comes to. I will accept only money orders or paypal. If using paypal, it will have to marked up 3.5% for the paypal fees. I agree, a bipod attached to the receiver in front of the magazine well is the best place for it. The balance feels just right and it doesn't mess with the harmonics of your barrel when firing. I used a Versa-Pod bipod with the Mini-14 mount. If attaching it on the receiver in front of the magazine well, you have to be careful how close you put it to the well. Too close and you won't be able to insert your magazines with the normal ak rock-and-lock style. If you are interested in my setup, just send me a PM and i'll hook you up with links on a how-to.

It's only $5 to become a contributor to be able to sell on this forum. It's well worth it, even if you don't want to sell on here. It's a great community and it's worth it to help keep this place running. As for payments and the security theirof, CSSpecs is absolutely right. Safest thing to do as a seller with any kind of sale is to hold off shipping your item until you actually have the funds in your hand or bank account. With my sale here, I actually went with paypal because I talked with the buyer over the phone and he seemed trustworthy enough to do so. And make sure the communication between you and the buyer is top notch.

Thanks for the kind words Red. I had that cheek riser on because I usually have a PK-AS red dot sight attached to it. it can easily be taken off or even the soft parts scraped off.

I'm selling my Saiga 12 that I converted myself. The rear tang is cut off for the Tromix polymer stock with folding adapter (folding to the right side atm). Attached to the stock is a tromix cheek riser. Has a Hogue pistol grip, Tromix D-I-Y trigger guard, and Tapco single hook FCG. Also has a Carolina Shooters Supply puck, Tac-47 Auto plug that is tuned to the shotgun, and a Poly-Choke II Breacher. The shotgun has ~600 rounds through it, and I've hunted with it in Ohio for two deer seasons. Thats why they cheek riser is kinda tattered, going through brush and what not. Shes a fine shooter, shes tuned real well for low-brass (namely Federal Bulk birdshot from walmart). Slugs get a nice 5" group at 100 yards. I have not had the time yet to paint over the bottom of the shotgun, as you can see. EDIT (I went ahead and painted it as of 10/15/2012)
Comes with a stock 5 round mag, 10 round AGP mag, and a 2 round mag. Not pictured, but also will be shipped with the cleaning rod, cleaning kit, and lubricant bottle. Also comes with original gas plug, metal muzzle thread protector, and a sling.
I'm asking $750 shipped, that includes shipping costs and the FFL transfer fee. Will only accept Money Orders, Cash, and Cashiers Checks. Check to make sure your state laws allow you to purchase this first.

I'm going to have to try this out now, I've been wanting to get a PSL or dragunov type handguard on my 308. Im guessing the polymer handguards will be tougher to modify with the end result not looking like crap.
