The stock is rock solid, my only slight gripe about it is the hand grip part of it protrudes a quarter inch or so past the trigger guard. It doesn't really mess with my trigger pull though. I thought about sanding it down so its flush but I'm not confident enough to make the plastic look like it was made that way.
I wanted to stick with a comblock "Dragunov" style firearm, so i went with the Dragunov reticule and non-pro version of scope instead of a mildot. I don't expect to be making sub-moa shots with this platform, but I feel confident enough placing some lead on a human sized target at 600 yards. Thats enough to make me happy.

Its probably me not being used to it, but at 300 yards its harder to keep it rock steady on target. With the white hits I used sandbags on the front and rear of the rifle and it was much more stable. I used the bipod first, and was not happy with the result and knew I had to make a more stable platform.

Thanks! It's a Black Horse Arsenal SVD stock. They actually import real dragunov svd stocks and convert them to work for PSLs and AK type rifle.

Thank you, its a Black Horse Arsenal SVD buttstock. Not exactly cheap, but I think it was worth it.

Very nice rifle! A russian "Tigr" I take it? That's a rare stock too, probably a pretty penny just for that. Is that gonna be a shooting rifle, or a safe queen?
