  1. Here is an idea....If you dont like what goes on at company XYZ. Dont buy shares in company XYZ...Its called a FREE market system! My favorite quote "Trinity owns at least $2,000 worth of Wal-Mart shares, according to court papers." I hope they get charged at least 40k in atty fees..but I'm sure the lead atty is probably a member of the distinguished congregation and all hours charged to the case are structured to be a tax deductible donation.

  2. ^^^

I on the other hand am a bit vain sometimes and enjoy getting dressed up an looking sharp.

Anything from some nice threads for going to a party or dinner, a nice suit for suitable events an I love a chance to get into a Tux and strut like a rooster.

    Nice stuff costs $$$$!

I would agree with that..but I'm more of a shirt and tie type of guy....I prefer a nice set of cuff links as opposed to a jacket. I hate a tux!

  3. I bet many US companies are really worried about their Russian investments. The US could lose billions if Russia was to seize companies as retaliation.

If they want to give stinging sanctions. the EU should figure out how to go without gas and oil.. That would actually hurt the Russians.

Here lies the problem, the EU can't survive without the Russian energy exports, they can but it would kill their economies, some of the countries have been bailed out of bankrupt the last couple years. They literally can't afford the sanctions if they wanted to. So you won't see those sanctions from the EU...Barry can try to impose US sanctions but until the EU gets on board it will have no effect. Also factor into the equation the fact estimated costs to keep Ukraine a float the next couple years is $29 B a year...If the EU does pass sanctions they would expect the US to pay that, which we can't afford. Hence your bullshit EO. That's about all Barry can do at this point and Putin knows it.

  4. Agreed it was high on drama....The best show I have seen that represents tower work to date is the one episode of words toughest fixes. They were replacing a TV antenna. I did a few HD antennas swaps back when the migration to HD frequencies was going on. My personal record is 1900'. There was 2 100' antennas on top of the tower, stacked one on top another. The crew I was working on replaced the top antenna.

For all you guys that are interested in what it takes to make your phone work like it does you might want to watch. I worked on steel for about 7 years until a blew a disk, now I just manage the work on a daily basis. I dont know how true to real world this show will be since it is reality TV but there should be some interesting footage.

  6. That's not too far from me, there is a large animal reserve near where he killed that pig. I often think about all the animals in The Great Dismal Swamp, there are giant black bears taken from around the edges of it all the time, I would imagine it is just full of pigs like that. There is good reason it is called The Great Dismal Swamp, much of it is pretty inaccessible for hunting or anything else.

Don't forget about the big ass red wolves too...I have seen some huge ones around the Stumpy Point area.

The estimated bear population of Hyde Co. is around 5000...People population is 3000. Down East has no shortage of critters to shoot....

  7. With 55 gr, I shot up a old chevy being used as a target for LAW subcalibers. The door was still good so I punched a few through it. The JSP's emerged going sideways as did FMJ. I also saw the same with deer. The post wardens always wondered what I hit it with as the exit wounds looked like I stabbed it with a knife. Even saw 2 ribs, one with a V notch from the tip, and a square notch from the tail on the other. The JSP's don't seem to expand a bit unless you hit something really solid. Those rounds on deer would leave really good blood trails out to 100 yds, and after that they start doing the .22 in/.22 out bit, and then you need tracking snow. Since neither seem to expand, JSP is as good as FMJ, but use the JSP for hunting to keep the warden happy.

This is why I stwiched to a 6.8 for hunting table fare, 110 grain SP rds. The recoil is about the same. My 8 yr old son killed his first deer last year with a 6.8. Plus I have targets of opportunity were I hunt, hogs. We have shot piggies over 300#..I have seen them shot with 30-06 under 50 yards with no exit wound. IMO deer that run more than a hundred yards after the shot dont taste as good as the meat is filled with endorphins..leaves the "gamey taste". Plus I dont want to take the chance of looseing the animal. I love the 556 for yotes...I usually dont retrieve them after the shot anyway..

  8. It's a nice rifle but the newer ones are not made in Germany. The German made ones retail for about $2800. I can't figure out how they move production here and cut $1200 off the price. I know the stocks are different on the USA model and no import costs but there has be some other quality difference. A different stock and import costs wouldn't add up to $1200. Anybody know the scoop?

  9. I have 2 pro mag 10rd mags and 2 AGP gen 2 10rd mags I am looking to move. AGPs have never been used...I think I have used one of the pro mags once. $25 each for the pro mags and $30 each for the AGPs....buyer pays actual shipping I will use USPS flat rate box. Will trade for SGM 10 or 12 rders. Pics available upon request.

    Thanks
