  1. If they ever start shipping look into the atn x sight....I wouldn't trust if my life depended on it but for critters at night I think it will work...all the reviews I have studied looks like it will do the trick out to 100 yds. As soon as I get mine, been back order since summer, I plan on testing on the local hog population and posting a full review. I am most interested in being able to record thru the scope, it takes an SD card. I have two sons that are starting to hunt and I am looking forward to recording their hunts. The price is right around $700 for the 5x18 model. They also make 3x12 model that is in the $500 range.

  2. They are not really towers. Its a briefcase size box...The Stingray and other IMSI devices have been around for years, mid 2000s It is my understanding that Harris Corp, they developed the 1st one, and the other manufacturers are only allowed to sell them to LEO and the other alphabet agencies. My take is if they are found its LEO of some sort regardless of what the press release says. If you are in a know 4G area and you notice your phone throttle back to only 3G....turn it off its a dead giveaway your phone is handed off to one.

  3. ^Thanks for the info. That sounds more like local network holes more than anything else. The good news is all 4 of the major carriers are upgrading their networks at an unprecedented pace. So much so that getting materials, lines, antennas, and radios is my biggest hurdle. We finished a new site for one of the big 4 last week, within 10 seconds of the site being on air it had 100 devices hit the site.

  4. Thanks! It was my first AR build and my first AR to own. Gotta say, I enjoyed assembling it and it's got me looking at building a rifle lower. It's like Lego Technic for adults.   It's the ACT trigger from ALG defense.  The trigger has a nickel-boron coating and the hammer has a nickel-teflon coating.  It's pretty smooth and crisp.  It's a lot better than my MP15-22.  I've only tried to fire it once and I got a light primer strike.  I got the enhanced firing pin, so I'm thinking a new stronger hammer spring, or maybe a heavier hammer.  But then I'd loose the coated hammer that makes the pull nice.

    Any tips?

That trigger will work fine...it didn't look mil spec but it got blurry when I tried to take a closer look. I have a few ARs but none chambered in x39. If it was 556 I would say try some non mil spec rounds...some times the mil spec primers are a little harder...for the first 100rds and then back to mil spec...not sure if that could be an issue with x39. They are very additive to build...just be careful next thing you know you will have a half dozen complete rifles and a couple stripped lowers in the safe and a drawer full of parts...that is what happened to me...I found myself build one for a scope I bought a couple weeks ago....lol

Currently my buddies and I are trying to see who can build the cheapest one, only rule is no polymer..currently, before Black Friday, the leader in the clubhouse is $876. As soon as PSA has another batch of blemished uppers I may be able to beat that...LOL

  5. If it's the house you want sell yours, even if it is a wash, and go for it. Unless you want to rent houses as a business....sell it! I have been renting a house and remodeling the one I live in for the past five years. Luckily the one I rent is paid for but between up keep, taxes, insurance and the management fee I have yet to make any money, breaking even the last 3 years and in the red the first two. Had to replace the HVAC one year and a refrigerator, stove, and DW the next. I have only had two renters in 5 years with no damage. With all that being said your going to go over budget on the remodel. Whatever you think it will cost add 30% and that will get you close. Plus as you remodel you will get the "while we are at we might as well......." Also having to stop working on your house to address something at the rental sucks! As soon as someone makes me an offer above tax value I am taking it. One less headache!

    Good Luck!

  6. The person to fix this mess needs to not be liked by both sides, D and R. I also believe that the person needed to fix this will be a one term president if they ever get elected....After 4 years of changing things the way they need to be changed no one in the establishment will like them. Seems Mr. Carson is fitting that mold a little more everyday. I am tired of seeing career politicians elected. I trust what my doc tells a hell of a lot more than my Senator....just sayin....
