That is a very poorly made sidemount, get a good scope mount, Midwest makes a good one, the bp02 is a really good one and the molot sidemount is also a good one, it is worth it to spend the money on a good mount than to have issues lime you have with this very crappy mount.

Do the conversion to move the pistol grip to original location, when you do that get the tapco g2 trigger group, keep the original hammer with tapco trigger hook and disconnector. You can do unlimited styles of butstocks, all ak styles fit. The mags are expensive but csspecs makes good 20 rd ones that work good.

Does anyone have range report of their super vepr? I saw someone post pics of a 50 yrd group, but nobody else has 100 yrd groups?

I am also curious, I think that that one will look good and be functionable at the same time, and if you need to, you can mount rails on the sides. I saw threaded holes on the sides in the pic.

I think it is nice to see how people manage to install optics on the super, the setup I have keeps the scope over the bore, I had to modify a m76 scope mount to make it work, from what I understand, molot does not make a siderail mount that centers the scope over the bore. The claw mount that sits over the top cover centers the scope too, but you have to remove it every time you clean the weapon. So let's see what scope setups people come up with.

How thick is the barrel before the gas block and how thick is it under the front sight block?
