I know it has been awile but I finally talked this guy out of his Armi Jager AP84 got it with a trade. Took it out and fired a few rounds through it, it needs to be taken completely down and cleaned. It has a Tapco handgaurd that is too tall, but other than that it is in good shape and has a magazine. I got it so that my son will have a gun like mine and we plan on doing some mods to it to make resemble the one i am building. I will do my best to keep all updated.

Sorry for not adding any updates in awile had to put project on back burner for a time. Here is a picture of the mock up i still need to Duracoat it and do the final assembly.

I am looking to buy an Armi Jager AP84 in .22LR, it is a galil copy, the guy wants 175.00 for it. Does anyone have any information about this gun?

Woodzie65, I just took my buttstock to my friend and he did the rest from there. I just told my guy to go 1/8 of an inch past the upper part of receiver.

Thanks DrThunder I just hope it turns out as good as yours. here is a better picture of the receiver block my machinist friend really likes what he does . GOB, I still have old furniture and hardware, solid pieces but could be re finished.

I had a machinist buddy of mine fabricate a receiver block, and it fits like a glove.

Thanks to DrThunder88 and his great videos I have started my own conversion. I just ordered the rest of the parts I needed to complete job. I have attached some pics will see if it worked. this is what I started with. I will post more pics as time progresses.
