  1. I got a 18-24 count gun, fire resistant (1400 deg F for 30 min)

stack on elite. with the old school tumbler (digital was about 50-75$ more) got it at DICKS.

    (paid 500$ w- a 50$ rebate)

I like it but I wish I would have gone bigger.

I put about 11 guns in that one 4 of which are scoped. and it already feels crowded.

I think the wife was trying to limit my future purchases. (no room=no more guns) like that will work!

You got to think the cheapest gun I'm locking up cost about the same as the safe.

    Money well spent!

I also highly recommend German Shepard's or Dobes!

even better are Boxers, Bull Mastiffs, Pits, Dogos, Rotties or any other dog over 75lbs with the Mastiff type locking jaw.

  2. Hey Juggernaut

Nice rocks too in the pic! Those look like a Savannah river and a Morrow Mountain type one.. Dude those are older than great grandma's pee pot. In fact they could be between 3,000 and 7,000 years old! I know bout these things...

    :super:

haright, I've already takrn a shot of whisky and an ambien so Im pretty punchy.

But yo talkin 'bout the aerowheads?

  3. To be blunt about leapers and tasco.

I have 2 leapers scopes at aprox 50 bucks ea + shipping

nothing wrong with them at all.

I wish I had 1 $110 scope that was a nice "entry level" scope of a better brand.

scopes as with guns you get what you pay for.

I wish I COULD tell you It's the best scope ever and I can't believe I got mine for 50 bucks, but Dude... I can't..... sorry man.

but at least you won't bone yourself twice like I did.

I hope none of this sounded off or strange as it was not intended to!

Best bet don't get to excited, wait and save$$$$ find out info. and buy 1 good scope! you will be happier in the long run!

  4. with Leapers you get what you pay for.

    nothing bad, nothing super either.

I got 2 6x32s that I use on on my ARs

no complaints, you just don't want to knock 'em around that much.

I normally have to make small adjustments after about 200 rds.

  5. Bvamp and Cobra You Guys ROCK!

I have NEVER gone more than a couple of hours with a question on this forum before I have a ROCK SOLID answer!!!!

I have learned enough here where I could actually help out a noob the other day.

(even though after reading allot of the threads out there I think I'll be feeling like a noob myself for some time yet to come.)

    thanks guys!

big thanks to pogy as well!

  6. When I ordered mine (got the dura coat) they were awesome!

even offered to install it for free as my gas tube prevented it from fitting correctly.

(I had to cover shipping) they also had to grind the rear site.

It kinda seems stupid to have a dovetail on the rear sight if there going to "set" them in at the factory anyhow.

How come Halo doesn't seem to have any representation on the forum?

    *snip*

  7. when I saw the pic Guido2 posted of his gun I thought it was OD green.

I personally thought it looked cool! but I like OD green.

I understand your frustration if you thought it would be BLACK!

Slap on some green furniture and you'll have slick looking rig!

  8. Hey Cobra! was just wondering if you are going to move you post about not making a new post on the s12 pic thread

without a new pic because it doesn't have a picture in it?

( hey, its is just a poor attempt to be funny but I most likely just sound like an ass... If i did, I'm sorry man!)

  9. Locate an FFL dealer. A Federal Firearms License holder is needed to transfer ownership of most types of firearms. They will receive the firearms that you order, perform the background check & legally transfer the item to you.

Some common examples of an FFL dealer are gun stores, gunsmiths, pawnshops and shooting ranges.

Once you have located an FFL dealer to process your transfer, inform the dealer of the type of firearm you are looking for to make sure it is legal in your area and ask what the fee is for his involvement. Fees vary, so you may want to shop around to different dealers for the best price the national average is $25-$40
