1060 is good for a dojo blade.. it holds an edge well enough and forgiving if you don't get a good cut... anything over 1085 and and the steel is so hard, your blade is likely to chip if you cut 'wrong"..

Sure it has a hard edge.. but.. for day to day cutting, I'd go with 1060 or 5160 for mono tempered cutters..

Ronin Katana is my fave (Dojo Pro).. Solid blades for the money.. the "AK's" of the sword world...

I looked that those exact ones.  Will probably end up being my next Katana.  It's funny that you mention the "AK of the Sword World" because that is exactly how I posed the question when looking for a sword!  Haha.

I asked what would be the equivalent to an AK.  haha.gif

They have their scratch and dent sale, soon.. normally a ding on the saya or something minor... perfect for "cutters"... tell Chris @ Ronin Kat that Juggs sent ya...

The crappiest I had were glocks

Damn and I was just about to purchase a 19. I like the option of the 33 rounders.

Dont mind me ...Im a pistol snob and just hate glocks

They make the most likely to explode in your hand 40 cal hand gun on the planet, but other than that and crappy triggers they are ok

They can be made into a decent gun.. but at the price point of the stock pistol, you can just buy a decent gun for the same or less you would put into a Glock to get the gun ya want..

I run a G19 as my edc and gonna get an ATEI RMR for it just for fun that cost twice as much as the base pistol..

  4. have always tried to be generous as I could be with friends and family. Often giving more than I can. Sometimes I get discouraged because I wonder if that makes a difference at all or people notice how much even the smallest friendship means to me. then sometimes a friend does something extremely generous for you and it feels weird! Today I was blown away buy a gift I received from my buddy Dancing Bear. a finely made, handcrafted, boot boy oxblood red, leather dog collar. made especially for my boy Brisco. above and beyond every way thank you so much will and I'm proud to have called you a friend for over 10 years now. Semper Fi! Oh, if y'all didn't notice, the medallions on other side of Brisco's name look like a couple of Marine Corps challenge coins. so very cool.. We have been friends for a decade now. Forging or friendship in the early, Glory days of this forum back when folks still treated each other as Brothers and friends. and true friends stand the test of time..
