LRBHO does not function on my gun I emailed customer support and am awaiting a response auto mail said they were gone till the 1st but would try and answer in the evenings
They said long ago that LRBHO would not work with these, unless something changed that I hadn't heard about

The double stacks will come out as soon as the "double, double mag well adapter" - then we can put two doubles in the adapter and go all QUAD!!!!!!!!
That's a really good idea, at least a good way to make a "double stack" and keep the shells aligned by using 2 mags locked side by side in a mixing adapter. Make me one or 2

My MKA drum rocks but I would rather never sell it publicly than watch some jackass copy it.
That's about the stupidest thing I've ever heard, you'd rather not make a shitload of money because you are afraid of some asshole stealing your design, and making a lesser quality copy. OK

wait until Legion gets these trunnions back in and swap it

Firebird has announced one near market which is supposed to have changeable towers for MKA or Vepr/030 compatibility.
I emailed them a few weeks ago inquiring about an ETA for the Veprs, and they wrote back yesterday...
"Right now, we're just working on the MKA variants, but this would be a great drum for the VEPRS, etc as well.
I'll push the idea."
...It might be a whie

I wrote them inquring about the release date, waiting on a response

Atlantic posted an update 2 days ago on AKfiles "The development seems to be stalled at this time and do not have high hopes for them making it to market anytime soon. The drum was to big & bulky and weight was a issue & it needed to be redesigned to make it smaller."
-
get it now, they have a 50% off july 4th sale going on.

I believe the saiga technically uses a 1000. at least that's what I got for mine when I was researching it.

centerfire systems: vepr 12 sgm 25 round tactical drum. preorder $99.95
How long has that preorder been going on? Seems like going on 1 1/2 years now.
I like this drum, 1: being metal, and 2: being offset to the side will allow the stock to be folded
-
If the Vepr12 version is 200, I'll preorder right now

look up VEPR 12 Lefty Safety plug at thesecretweapon.net. he makes a plug that replaces the small ambi-lever on the left side for people who wish to get rid of the lever. (if that is the part you broke.)
-
Are there similar problems with the 7.62x39? I was thinking of getting a few to test at my nazi anti-bimetal range.
-
New to VEPR 12's so forgive me, but in the 10 hours or so of online research I have done tyring to learn as much as I can everyone complains about the SGM mags. Everything I have read says the first gen was G2G and since then they are very un reliable. Is this the case? Just wondering why people are excited for a drum if the standard mags dont work
Because there is no drum yet (besides an insanely priced maxrounds). I personally won't be getting one of these drums, though. Something about it being that big and all plastic, seems like one drop and it's over. Unless they include some metal reinforcements, I'll bide my time for something else. Probably be waiting awhile.

Interesting, allows for stock folding.

Except for the TOC. That is just stellar:
Now THAT'S funny

I had to start doing technical projects wit my 10 yr old girl this summer to try to get some kind of common sense drilled into her. I helped her take her bike completely apart down to the bearings, and made her put it back together without assistance. I think she hated every second of it. Just last week, she stuck a tree branch into my garage door keyhole and the splinters jammed in it and rendered it useless. Little girl had to stay up a little late rebuilding the lock mechanism. She hates it now, but hopefully she'll be able to make a bomb out of a paper clip to get out of a sticky situation later in life.

Used my debit and credit cards there. My bank issued me a new debit within a few minutes on the phone. But my credit card company flat out refused to send me a new one. Kind of strange position to take since it's on them if I get fraudulent charges.

I don't think Saiga rifles are worth the price anymore. I passed one up a couple weeks ago for 589, now they're even higher. You can get an all new parts m10 for not much more, or a SLR-107 for the same price as what you have to put in a saiga for a decent DIY conversion.
-
Have you paid attention at all? Do not attempt to do any business with him, he's had parts for over a year!
forgot to include the sarcastic tone in my earlier post

those do look great, I'm almost tempted to send him mine.

Id file the mags to fit the gun nit vise versa.
In the off chance you are in a situation where the world is fucked, and you are relying on only your v12 for the defense of yourself and possibly others, and you broke your last factory V12 mag, and your last sgm mag failed to feed, and you just happened to stumble upon a corpse that just happened to have a v12 mag on him, you'd be glad that you filed your mag catch instead of every single one of your mags to fit your long mag catch.
the V12's gonna fly off shelves with the drum finally releasing?

eh... I'm passing on this drum, too big and too fragile. rather have the Csspecs 10 rounders that are finally out.
