  1.

Bill Burr is a comedian, but this does make some sense in this case.

(Can someone imbed this for me if it doesn't work, thanks)

ETA: I can't find a clip of just that skit in his act; but essentially, middle of the night, a 22 isn't going to deafen or blind you with muzzle flash.

If you're so enclined, it's at 1:01:00 of his stand-up special

  2. I do believe said thread is called the Random Picture Thread, not the hot women thread. How can you be angry with her random pictures in a random picture thread. I recommend the "Eye Bleach" thread on the AKfiles if you want a thread with 90% hot women.

Edit: If his/her posts were throwing legitimate thread of topic that's a different story. I haven't seen much of that.

Yeah, the brake is a little big, but I don't think it's too long. Maybe if you had the 21" barrel, I'd say a chop and perm would be the way to go.  I hope that picture helps a little, not the best lighting at the moment.

  4. I have a vepr-12 with the CSS GK-01 and a Romanian dong hand guard, it's a side folder so I can't change the stock (easily at least), and I haven't had a chance to get a wood grip yet. But it may give you a little bit of an idea of what it looks like. I'll post a pick later tonight.

  5. Sounds like a good service.

From what I understand, you are not supposed to use low brass ammo in the VEPR12 - it's in the manual somewhere.  Stay away from bird shot, and low FPS loads.  I am new and just learning, but certain brands of ammo do not work well, and there is a brand sold at Walmart called Suprema that is inexpensive and works well from what I have read, while certain loads of Winchester have issues.

I second the Wally world suprema ammo. No problems for me as of yet. Plus, the ones at my WalMart are 1315fps.

  6. Shoot two hundred rounds of 3" before fucking with it! It was never intended for cheap trap loads, but most will run it after breaking in.

I have also heard hand racking your gun a few hundred times can get similar break-in results. And its cheaper. :)

  7. I think most people here would recommend the normal Saiga procedure. That is start with reducing any friction in the bolt, carrier, reciever area first. See how that affects cyclying. The make more major mods if still needed. I would say, make sure your loads are 3 dram, about 1225 fps, or more. I usually go for 3 1/4 dram, 1255 fps, and haven't had any issues.
