Im looking for a AK47 parts kit for a project i want to build for my dad. I have a new P13.45 Para 1911 double stack frame im looking to trade if theres any interest. Frame is in the raw but is 100% so I would need to be transferred through an FFL. It comes with one new magazine and a trigger.

As for you card being charged, mine was charged as well and i ordered on the 10th of Jan. If your really wanting mags i would just sit tight and wait for them to show up, there is no ban as of yet, so your order is expected to be delivered. If something comes to light and the orders are not fulfilled, then i would expect a refund.

I had this same thought, i know it wouldnt cycle a semi, but they could be handy in a SHTF situation if you needed to ignite something from a distance?

This....308 is not cheap to shoot and most likely will not be getting any cheaper. 12g is pretty consistent in price and usually more readily available then .308, locally atleast.That said, however the S12 is setup needs to be known. If i had other semi auto 'modern sporting rifles', and didn't have an S12, or semi auto shotgun, then it would be awfully tempting.
If you have multiples and could ditch your least favorite rifle to get one to expand your collection, it might be worth it value aside. If you decide to go for the trade, Just be prepared that the saiga may require some fine tuning.

What is done to the saiga 12? And what accessories does it have? If its just a basic conversion with some mags, my opinion the AR10 is probably worth more. But it's hard to say without seeing both weapons. The saiga 12 is a great weapon, but you have to remember, before all this drama a base unconverted saiga was roughly $650, add maybe $200 for conversion parts, and whatever else $$ wise.I have a 94' AWB compliant Armalite AR10A2 and I might be able to trade it for a slightly above average accessorized and converted Saiga-12. Would you make that deal in this market?

This Huey would be a blast to fly. But since the data plate is gone, It would take an extreme amount of paperwork to get this bird in legal standing with the FAA though. Experimental/exhibition category only.

Nice conversion! Did you buy yours with the polished bolt and carrier? If you get a folding stock, make sure it folds to the left. I got mine with the conversion kit and it folds to the right, covering the safety and interferes with the charge handle. Retarded design IMO. I do have a Hogue grip and love it! Locktight EVERYTHING because shit will rattle loose when you shoot it. Nice build and thank you and good luck with your Army service.
I bought it with the stock painted bolt carrier but the paint was starting to wear off on the tip of the charging handle. I did a semi polish on it by glass beading the the carrier to remove the paint, then used a steel wire wheel to remove the frosted look. I was not to concerned about making it a mirror finish, the only thing i actually put a little more work into was where the rails ride, and on the bottom face where the hammer contacts.
Which stock did you use that folds to the right?
Ill be sure to go back and loctite any screws that might loosen up. Its my pleasure and thank you for your suggestions and feedback.

I have a brand new MWG 90 Rounder AR drum for sale. The box is opened but its unused, iv only inserted it into a magwell to check for fitment at lockup. Im looking to trade for some Saiga 12 mags, or an AR-15 lower parts kit and stock kit.

Thats what I wanted to do when i joined the Marine Corps many years ago, well not for that particilar aircraft, but as a general helicopter crew chief mechanic. But they did what most USMC recruiters do, and thats by conning me into another MOS saying my eyesight wasnt good enough. Found out later that my eyesight is indeed good enough, enough so that i met requirements to be able to fly aircraft with the USAF. But oh well.
Sorry for getting off topic. Just wish you the best of luck with basic and your military career. And dont be pulling out any "stress cards" while your there. Last I checked the insurgents and taliban dont accept them in combat. Haha.

I made sure i got the MOS that i wanted or it was no dice. I do maintenance on small airplane engine stuff right now as my civilian job so the maintenance aspect should be pretty straight forward, but i am hoping to transition into a warrant position eventually and get to fly them.
And I have been told about the "stress cards", they may be there, but pulling them means you become the Drill Sargent's new best friend lol.
Ill be sure to keep my build thread updated.

Army, going in as a 15T, UH-60 Repairer. Only doing part time, but aviation is activated quite a bit from what i hear.

Hey Guys, So i picked up my first Saiga at the end of Nov used from a local guy for a decent deal. Came with a 10 round mag and a T6 stock/grip combo. I was going to hold off on the conversion but after feeling the trigger I knew it needed to be done sooner. And since I'm leaving this month for basic i wanted to make sure i had enough time to finish it before i left.
The conversion cost me roughly $140 which includes the Tools i needed. And since i have access to a mill, lathe, and TIG welder at work, i did all the mods myself. I ended up using the T6 stock with the pistol grip removed since the tapco ak stock is a little shorter than i like.
