  1. I found out my particular weapon was "factory converted"to to be 922r compliant and imported by RWC. Both mags fit and lock in, but I still have no idea if it needs the bullet guide or ramp yet. They test fire these things so I'd think everything is fine...I wont have range time for a week or so unfortunately.
  2. That makes much more sense. I was told it was fully converted, and for some reason the gun likes steel mags MUCH better than poly. I can get the Tapco in there, but a standard AK mag seems to "fit" better. Thanks for the response.
  3. I don't know if these will help, but here's the gun:
  4. Yes it has already been converted and the magazine it came with was a Tapco 30rd.
  5. I have read the 922® and made sure the one I bought was already compliant... and my Saiga is well beyond compliant as is. Any idea on the best bullet guides?
  6. Hey everyone. I am new to this site and to the world of 7.62mm, but not guns. I bought my first Saiga (7.62x39) and it is the "Izhmash" model. The only question I really have is will this weapon accept only certain magazines? Do I need a bullet guide for this model? And last but not least, if a bullet guide is installed, will the other "stock" mags work as well as regular ak mags? I believe it came with a tapco (sp?) mag. And please don't flame or tell me to search, I've tried and all I come up with is magazines for unmodified Saigas.
