  1. When the last shot is fired on the various Saiga rifles in different calibers, does the bolt remain open to let you know you are out of ammo? There would also need to be a bolt release for when you feed the new magazine in you can get back to action easily. I am looking to buy a Saiga in .308 and was just doing some research Thanks
  2. I've spent the last 3 or 4 hours reading past posts and I really love this board. I fell in love with a SAIGA other day at LGS which has really upset my plans to hand select a field -rade M1 Garand for $475 from over a hundred to choose from in the first week of Jan. I'd like a removable clip but dont ever think I will need more than 6 or 8 rounds.... I will do some occasional deer hunting and plinking but I really want to own a rifle that has character and will hold its value, be reliable, and always be able to get repair parts. I dont thing there is much difference between
