  1. im really suprised no one linked to this yet'

Best chices for self defense ammo:
    https://www.ar15.com/ammo/project/Self_Defense_Ammo_FAQ/

considered by many to be the bible of defense rounds

above all as many have said reliability in your specific handgun is of the upmost important. if it dosnt go bang it dosnt matter whats in there, if it works in one of your guns dosnt mean it will in the other.

my baby eagle seems to really like gold dots, my xdm like federal hst.

  2. best advantage of the chaos rail is it is atached to the gas tube lock. that alows you to keep the factory irons, but also alows it to be removed from the rifle with the removal of one pin for cleaning, etc. im a few hundred rounds through my chaos and strikefire and have not seen an issue with zero yet.granted that is not a conprehensive training course hard use long term test, but so far im happy with the results. a side rail is going to be more repeatable and sturdy, just by the nature of the design. all 3 of the main topcover designs, chaos, tws akars have strengths and weaknesses.

  3. I have a newer 581 series. I added the tech sight rear wich was a huge improvement over the stock sight, and a accustrut wich I'm not sure how much of a difference it made. I did have a Problem with the sight running out of adjustment out of the box, sent it back to ruger and they sorted it out. It is not by any means a tack driver, but is combat accurate (minute of whatever the hell I need to shoot) where it really shines is it is a joy to shoot. There's something about it that is just fun. I was given the option to trade it recently ano declined and got rid of my .22 instead. Aftermarket mags are an issue for some (many?) but I have only run mine with factory 5 and 10 rounders. I took it out for the first time in a while the other day and wished I had more 223 with me. theyre fun little rifles

  4. http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2014/12/18/iwi-us-announces-return-jericho-941/

A press release from IWI US confirms that the Israeli Jericho 941 pistol will be returning to the US market in 2015.

These pistols, based off the Cz75 design, have been imported by other companies in the past under the Baby Eagle and Uzi Eagle name, but the original Israeli pistol has always been a Jericho 941.

Notably: IWI US has selected the frame mount safety for use in their pistols, addressing one of the most common critiques.

They’ll be producing 9mm, 40S&W and 45 APC variants in full-size and compact, with both steel and polymer frames.
