BRG3 still around?
He's on and off the board with varying frequency depending on how busy he is. If you need to contact him quickly, Email is usually best.

15 days and a wake up and I'll be home to Momma and the kids! It's been an interesting year. No more pirates. No more pesky Iranian speedboats. No more seeing the wrong end of AK's...

Father of one here.
He's stationed aboard the USS Samuel B. Roberts (FFG58), currently in its home port of Mayport, FL for repairs. They ran it aground (official Navy will not admit to this) off the coast of Argentina; and had to limp back with busted screw blades, a bent shaft and more.
I transferred in May from Mayport to Norfolk. The Roberts incident was familiar to everyone on the waterfront. I believe the skipper was relieved of duty.

Ahem! Getting back on topic. I did a net search of all the Montana newspapers I could find that had websites and archives. Not a single mention of the young lady or the gentleman who was murdered.

Don't forget that in some states you or your heirs, if you pass the land on to them, will be responsible for enviromental clean-up of the lead if the property is sold.
That is, of course, if anybody knows there was a "shooting range" there.

Only if you want the Presidential election run like American Idol.
Maybe more people in my age bracket would vote then...
Sanjaya for President!

This tacking on crap, amendments, riders, etc. to Bills really ticks me off, especially when it has absolutely nothing to do with the Bill. If there was one thig I could change that would be it.

Electorial college served its purpose when we didn't have internet, radio and tv. It is outdated now and should be ended.
Only if you want the Presidential election run like American Idol. Some decisions are too important to be left to the masses.

Around these parts, what with price and availability, the most accurate load is whatever you can lay your hands on!
Even re-loading stuff is going up, up, up in price.

As much as I would like to believe this story, my B.S. meter is pegged. I searched and couldn't find any other mention of this incident or of the murder of David Burien other than this one article.

Hiya Doc!
Does this count? http://www.newsnet14.com/?p=4278#more-4278
Hey 1911! (One of my favorite dates)
Nope, doesn't count. It's a repeat of the same article. I would find it more believable if there was some mention in a Montana newspaper or TV station of either Patricia's story or the murder of Mr. Burien.
Like I said, My mind wants to believe it, but my gut...

The U.S. is a constitutional republic not a true democracy.

I've been thinking about the same thing on my 5 acres. One thing I have seriously considered is making a long term investment in a couple of suppressors. Makes it more pleasant for everyone involved. Your hearing is protected since you will be shooting more and it gives potential crybabies/busybodies less to whine about.

I cannot for the life of me remember the name of the company that makes the aluminum "grip" adapters for the old S&W Chief's Special and Colt's Detective Special revolvers. It helped fill out the otherwise skinny grips of these pistols. The older models had to be drilled and tapped. The newer ones use 3m adhesive. They can be smooth or have finger grooves and come in polished, black or bronze finishes. They're kind of old school, but very effective esp for CCW
Anybody. I've been googling with no success.

I wish bellowing buttcrack McCarthy would end up in a shroud soon.
DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT DEFENDING HER ACTIONS!
At least she has a personal reason, albeit a misguided one. She lost her husband and now she is taking it out on anyone who owns a firearm.
Schumer, Fienstein, et. al. have no excuse whatsoever.

What do you think of your Rock River? They seem to have the best deals going, I need to get an AR soon....
So far so good! No leftover parts. Nothing rattles or shakes. Fit and finish are good. I'm thinking about getting a Ciener .22 conversion kit for it.

Summer fun:

Middle- WASR 10 AK varient. Wood furniture being refinished, In the meantime, it sports a TAPCO adjustable stock and Quadrail forearn. ERGO grip. 20 round Hungarian steel magazines that are built like tanks. Optics by A-1; 50mm red dot. Tapco G2 trigger. Assembled and modified for hi-cap magazines, opened the mag well and welded plates to prevent wobble.
Bottom- Mossberg 802. 10 round, bolt action. 22LR. 4x fixed power scope. It's the kid's training rifle.
Not pictured-Saiga 308 with Tasco 6x20 40mm scope
I've got a feeling a lot of .22 will go down range this summer until I can start reloading again. A good day on the range with these is almost a car payment!

Isn't a barrel shroud something you wrap the barrel in before you bury it? (Sorry, couldn't resist)
