  2. TJ's tumor shrunk from the size of his fist to 3 mm (size of a pencil eraser) due to the chemo.

One week ago Thursday he had 8 inches of rib taken out. He is doing great! The surgery was a complete success.

They removed any remaining tissue and he does not even have to have radiation now.

PET scan looked clear!! He'll follow up every few months, other than that he is "good to go"

  3. YAY!!!! You guys got the T's!!! They look great on her. After seeing pictures of her that were posted on the forum and seeing how little she is, I decided to get her in specific 'girlie' T's for a better fit. I like those ones as well, they are not all big and baggy like a regular T. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but when you can 'choose' what you order in and have printed up..............

We hope you like what we picked out for you too :) Just grabbed a few in the different logos that we had in your size. If there is any particular design that you wanted and did not get, please let us know and we will hook you up :)

Thank you sooooo much for participating in the true spirit of Christian giving. That was awful nice of you to still donate. It's people like you guys that help make this world a better place.

Have a wonderful Christmas and let us know if we can do anything else.

    Take care and God Bless,

    Lorie

  4. This was my first Suarez Class. It was great. Bill was awesome. Learned a lot of things and I feel more comfortable/confident with the Glock. It was a little bit of class-room time and then out on the range. Of course the basics of safety, some do's and don'ts. The 4 golden rules. Having a stable stance. Fired some rounds down range. I really liked the trigger reset, I had not used that feature before. Also I am familiar with some Glock mal-functions and getting back into the fight or worst case scenario, using the Glock as a club ya know going all caveman style Worked on changing out mags in the middle of a fight. This was a ideal confidence builder after getting my CCW. Loved it and would recommend it.

In fact, the Advanced class is this weekend, Sat and Sun, here in MI. Yay!!

    Thanks to Bill and Suarez.

  5. Thanks Everyone for all the interest!! This is a new direction for us.....Selling Direct vs. Wholesale

Drew and his posting of pics!! What a little (big) sh*t  JK

He's all like "come on you gotta put it on so I can get a pic"

And I'm like "aw, can't you wait until tomorrow"

And he's like "I really want to show people....please"

So I go "ok" and there ya go, and after a couple pics I just decided to stick out my tongue and he goes and posts it

I guess boys will be boys.....LOL Love ya all

But I saw your post Will.......your next.....JK!! LOL You rock!!

Also a new Dinzag T coming out soon.....be on the look out for that as well.

Have a GREAT night everyone! And thanks again. Drew loves ya all too....awwww.....

The little guy in the background of Drew's (shipping packages) picture is still feeling a little under the weather.....I think it might be the swine flu... :cryss: JK LOL

  6. Thanks guys for all of your input!!! Drew said that no matter what I get if I didn't like it he would take it LOL!!!!

I am just undecided between the: S&W M&P, the XD Compact, and the Glock 26. I am hoping to go shooting at an indoor range in the next couple weeks and really get a better idea of what feels good.

I do know that I liked the feel of the XD Compact because I got the chance to shoot one. I am hoping to shoot the other two. Juggs has the Glock 19, and I am even getting used to that from practicing with it since it is the only hang gun we have (everything else is rifle, or shottie.) We have been practicing with Gabe Suarez's video "Combative Pistol Marksmanship." It's a great video for where I'm at.

So I welcome any and all advice!! Thanks again and if I don't log on for a few days.......remember guys........Valentines Day is around the corner. And Happy Valentines Day to you all

    Take care and God Bless,

    Mrs J (Lorie)

  7. I had to post on this thread the Drew started. Petey was THAT dog. AAww...a sad day. But it really was for the better. He took a huge turn for the worse yesterday. We knew we were getting close to the end. He was not suffering at all, because if he was suffering we would have put him down earlier. He still had a great quality of life.... heck he laid on the couch all day and slept. He would get up to eat, go potty outside and bug the heck out of you for his treat in the evening. He will be sorely missed!!

Petey let us know that it was time for him to go. Not to be graphic but When he threw-up black/maroon paste we knew it was not good. (I guess it was blood.) And later on like 1:00 am it came out the other end and once again around 3:00 am. He hung in there until the very end. We called the vet first thing this morning. He could not even walk. The vet had a hard time finding a vein with blood in it. His blood pressure was real low. It was just time. We had a lot of time to say goodbye and get some closure. So that is good, where as Indy......you had no idea your dog would be gone....sorry for your loss!!

Petey outlived all his siblings by a year or so. We were hoping that we could do it after James (Drew's son) came home from U of M for Thanksgiving break but Petey just got too bad.....so we had to tell James over the phone. So that was our last 24 hours. I was able to stay home from work, which was good for Drew because this hit him hard!! Drew and Petey were together 24/7. He is hanging in there and me too, he was like our kid....13 years day in and day out. Tomorrow morning will be weird for me, because I always let him out in the morning and gave him breakfast and his insulin shot and a pain pill and now that part of my routine is simply gone!! Too weird!!!

We are very thankful for the years we had with Petey and we will see him in heaven one day.

Thanks for all of your support.....you all are the best!! Have a GREAT Thanksgiving.

    Take care and God Bless,

    Lorie

  8. Thanks guys for the responses and GREAT advice. I appreciate it so much. :lolol:

Paul...Thanks for the full-blown comparisons....too cool!! That is my kind of review!! No wonder my husband thinks so highly of you! :super:

I would like to stay with a 9MM so we are shooting the same ammo for the handguns. We have so many different types of rifles and shoties, with all sorts of ammo for those, it would be nice to stream-line the handgun ammo.

Once again THANKS and I appreciate any and ALL input. I will make a decision soon, I would like to shoot a few different ones and see what works well for me and then after that........it will be financial. Especially with Christmas and year-end bills... But we will get through!!

I will keep checking in. Take care and God Bless.

  9. Hi, I am a left-handed shooter, looking for a really good concealed pistol to carry/buy. My husband and I have finished up our CPL class. We are very pleased to find a "Suarez-friendly" instructor, Dave Dieball, in Howell, MI. He also teaches "killology" and "get off the X" ideals. He has a few different types of pistols for me to shoot before I decide what to purchase.

I have shot my husbands G-19, but the grip feels a little to fat for my hands. Also shot an XD 9MM sub-compact that seemed to feel a lot better in my hands. Also shot a sub-compact Glock (40 cal.) and that seemed to fit ok, too. Then I heard about the Ruger SR9 from another girl and she loves hers, the minute she held it, she knew that she was going to buy it. I have not had the opportunity to shoot hers.....yet. But I will.

The G19 is not that bad, it just does not fit like a glove and the slide release is real hard/stiff, I don't know if that is because it is a brand new gun and it's stiff or if that is the way the gun is. Instead of the slide release I have been using "jack-n-rack" But it is slower than just 'releasing' the slide, I have to bring my hand back around to the grip. The other thing is: when it is time to reload---the mag release is real hard/stiff as well and I have to use my other hand to release it so that slows me down as well.

I believe that all of these things are workable with the G19 and maybe just needs some practice on my end......but to find a gun that fits like a glove and is easier to release but is still a good fighting gun, reliable and etc....would be ideal

I am new to handguns (we always shoot rifles and shotguns) and I was just looking for any info that anyone is willing to share.

Also, what have any of you ladies found to be the best fit (for you) to carry the concealed pistol....appendix, cross-draw, hip, pocket, purse etc.

Thanks for any and all info.

God Bless and good evening to you all.
