  1. I have been but I've seen a significant increase in finish wear and no real improvement in cycling Hammer locks back with little effort. Will take bolt out & try that.
  2. If you can pull the bolt all the way rearward and release, and it flies into battery, but if you let it down slow and it hangs up, this is normal for a non-profiled gun. You would have to profile to remove friction to get it to stop riding on the hammer. If pulling all the way back and releasing does not work, you still have larger issues. It will return to battery 1 out of 5 times. The other times, it stops completely to the rear or makes it about halfway thru the cycling process (the latter being the most common). The bolt then requires a medium rap on the bolt lever to unstick t
  3. It actually seems to be the bolt carrier that is coming in contact with the hammer. You can see an area where the finish is been worn off of both of them from the contact. I purchased a modified trigger group thinking it would be "plug & play" so to speak, but that doesn't appear to be the case. It was purchased through a site sponsor, do I contact them or just modify my hammer more myself?
  4. Do you mean the entire bolt carrier or just the bolt? Don't suppose any of you guys are in the DFW area are you?
  5. Here is a look thru the magwell after "reorientation" Yes
  6. Ok. Reoriented bolt & it is still hanging up.
  7. That is a valid question. And while it is not beyond me to screw up......it is indeed installed correctly. Please forgive my noobness, but how do I post one from my iPhone?
  8. I don't have a plate. I have the shepard crook I think it is called. It is a cotter pin type of retainer for the pins. Tromix
  9. What is the retainer? Or more specifically where is it located?
  10. I just recently finished my conversion but now I have a problem. The bottom of the bolt will not clear the hammer i.e. the bolt gots hung up and will not go completely forward into battery. Has anyone else experienced this or did I do something wrong?
  11. If you have one or know where to find one please let me know as both stores are out of stock. Thanks. ETA: Looking for the one with the screws in the side to fill in the rivet holes.
