  1. Well get the image swapped sooner or later, but things around the store are keeping me so busy that we cant make the important fixes to the web site, let alone swap a picture. The important thing is that the link takes you to the right place on the shopping cart. But if a picture is what is holding you up...sorry.

  2. The $200 is the tax on SBS's, and the conversion for them is more than $350. IT is a huge amount of work to get them to run right with bbl lengths less than the norm. But man are they cool. I can't get my partner to leave one of the 8' shotguns alone. He is a big guy and I think he sees it as his new side arm. (On that same note, the 8" gun with stock extended and breeching standoff is the same overall length as an MP-5, the 12" version is the same as an MP-5SD).

  3. I heard it from a dealer, and I dont give any credit to it simply said he is a credible source usually. I posted

to see if any one else had heard a similar statement. I also agree that FBI involvement in a ATF matter does not make sense.

I would say that your dealer is either trying to sell you something else, or is a complete tool. Tell him if he needs any actual info to call RAAC, because whoever he is getting the info from is a tool as well.

  4. Well, a aother things aside, they still have not come and gotten any info from us as to who they were sold to, so how do they know who has them?

Hey B, this guys IP addy isn't the same as Robinsons is it? I see his message baord is down and since they dont have any Veprs or other product to ship maybe they are board.

  5. Yeah, I am calling big time bullshit with this one. The ATF would be the ones going around and doing the investigation/verification of the guns, not the ATF.

Secondly, how does anyone know who has been doing any modification to these guns other than ourselves and Tromix? Both of us openly post that we were doing it, and both of us are SOT's, full licensed to do anything to them that we choose. Add length, take it away, it doesn't matter. So how again do they know who has done what?

On top of that, there are still just over 100 guns that have not yet been returned to RAAC for verification of the length or a fix. All of the guns that did go back that WERE already fixed (ours Tromix, and possibly a few others) have now been approved and are on their way back to the owners. IF there were any controban issues they would have been siezed and their owners notified.

Who again did you say fed you this line of bullshit, and how exactly is he tied into the system to be in a position to know anything?

  6. Anyone know of an honest FFL in the Long Island, Suffolk area to do a transfer? $17 is a steal for a transfer. They want $40 plus tax in my area and they're a bunch of dickheads. This one guy gave me a song and dance about how there is very little inventory of 7.62 x 39 in country and then wanted to sell me a 20 round box of S&B for $8!

That wasn't those fucks from Long Island Shooting Center was it? Those are the two biggest fucking crooks in the business. If they have any Veprs for sale there, be advised, they are most likely reported stolen. I reported them since they stole them in a transaction from me.

Try Gunshopfinder to locate a good dealer there.

  7. It is the same one shown on Tony's page. Do you guys think I would try to pawn off some kind of plastic Tapco stock or something? :P

As for the mag, he is working on the high cap conversion for the 308. Maybe I will give him a break later in the months to work on it some more. :)

You know, that is one of the things that I respect most about Tony. He wont rush to finish a job and sacrifice his work quality like a lot of other guys have done in the past.

  8. That probably explains why Robinson Armament has had trouble getting Vepr shipments from Russia lately. I've also heard of Veprs being shipped back to Russia because of quality control problems. I suspect that once the Robinson Armaments XCR is in production that they will drop the Vepr because of the past problems with Molot, unless the new owner Izhmash can fix the problems. It will be interesting to see which plant makes future Saiga 12's and what the quality will be like. I just don't see Izhmash making Vepr's to Alex Robinsons quality standards.

That has NOTHING to do with why RA can not get Veprs. The reasons why he can't are entirely his fault. I have heard of Veprs being shipped back to Russia because the Russians sent them but they were not on the form 6, but in talking to the office staff, they have never returned a batch of Veprs to Russia. It would be easier to fix them here than take the time and money to return them, which they have done in the past.

In the last few months I have learned a great deal about the Russians and the way they work. I would take everything that comes from RA about the Russians and dealing with them as being highly suspect. And as RAAC can tell you, as long as the Russians understand the intricacies of US law, they are fairly easy to deal with.

RA is also blaming the deal with Venezuala for the delays in getting guns, which is an utter fabrication.

  9.

$1,220 basically. And no pics, lol.

That is the going rate, from Tromix. He is selling it for what he has into it. Most people have seen them, and if you need a pic (and dont want to go to Tromix's sight) then just ask. One of us can help you out if you need it. If you are just here to bag on another guys post...

Oh, and dont bother going to my ad, there are no pics there for you either.

  10. We have both the Gen 1 folding stock and Gen 2 solid stock conversions starting to come in. These are brand new guns from RAAC.

    21" 308 with solid stock $672

    16" 308 with solid stock $675

    16" 308 with folding stock $722

16" 5.56 with folding stock, converted to take Weiger mags $665

now taking orders, they are at Tromix

16" 7.62 with folding stock, converted to take regular 30rd mags $680 -now taking orders, they are at Tromix

Of course we have the unconverted ones as well.

We also have the 8" 12ga shotguns being made and we will be stocking those. These of course have to go thru an NFA dealer to be transfered to you. $975

Pics for most things are on the web site already, or email me for new ones.

  11. Hey pvtpyle,

I want to get a saiga twelve on your order.

I don't have an FFL, but should I purchase now to reserve, and worry about the transfer later?

BTW, I tried making a purchase on your site, but it denied the transaction. All my info was correct, but I got that message multiple times. I click the subit offline button and I was wondering if that just means that you guys do the entry manually, or do I have to mail it in?

    thanks!

arent we all glad that we pay our gun taxes?

I cant believe that they wont send an agent to your place of business pvtpyle, with the license you two have. I am quite surprised. its not like there is only one ATF agent out there that is qualified to do the inspections.

Under the US constitution, taxes may only be imposed as a means to generate revenue, and not as a regulatory device.

What the hell is the SAF and NRA doing with all the money I give to them?

Yeah, we are still working out the bugs on the shopping cart. The order went thru but it did not capture your card info. Thats OK, I don't like to bill until it ships. Call me direct today 801-571-1160

And since these are considered evil black rifles, you wont hear from the NRA.

  12. The second shipment will be here in mid April. Almost all of them from that shipment are already spoken for, so we are going to increase that today. I would get your order in ASAP. With the new online shopping cart going live yesterday you will be able to order online now.

  13. They only took into account what would be most convenient for them in making their "ruling." Any other option will be ignored as it would be less convenient for them.

If you have a non-compliant gun and make it compliant, you haven't broken any law. If you fix it yourself or have a gunsmith do it, you have complied with the law.

But you still can not have the local inspector verify that it is good to go. You still have to spend the money and time to send it back, when a few minutes and a phone call could solve it all.

  14. As many of you know, we were trying to resolve the issue of the short bbls in house with Tromix so that we did not have to send the guns back to RAAC. Well, it did not work.

I have just spoken with the ATF and they will not allow the Distributors or Tromix to perform the required fixes. ALL shotguns, regardless of condition or status, must go back to Russian American Armory to have the choke permanently soldered in place and to be inspected by the ATF Inspector for RAAC.

This is completely out of our control and we are very sorry for the inconvenience it has caused you and your customers. If you have the firearms still in your inventory, please send them back within the next 10 days. If you have sold them, please contact your customers as they will need to send them back as quickly as possible.

RAAC is trying to make this situation as easy as possible. They have established an account to ship back to them and then back to you or the customer. To get the shipping information, either you or your customer, need to call Larry Woods at RAAC and let them know you need a return ticket.

    Larry Woods, RAAC 1-812-752-2894

Again, we are very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you or your customers. Please explain the seriousness of the matter with them. The IZ-106 shotguns need to be shipped back to RAAC within the next 10 days. If you or your customers have any additional questions, please feel free to call us at 801-571-1160.

The ATF will be in contact with us if these weapons to not make it back to RAAC to be inspected. In the event of this, we will provide them the contact information of the dealer they were transferred to.

    My personal note....

I guess all that money Tromix and FBMG spent on licenses for making NFA items does not allow us to fix items like these brakes. It simply astounds me that we can be trusted to make machineguns and other really nasty evil things, but not to solder a few fucking choke tubes on. Those gentlemen are our tax dollars at work, and we are clearly getting what we paid for.

  15. Pvt.Pyle, I know it is like asking you to tell the future, but do you think these will still be available in a month from now? And where can I find the actual price from you for a base model Saiga12?

Edit: I found them on your site with the price listed. Is that the current price?

I have no idea. We have a few more, but they do not last when we get them in.

  16. No, absolutely not. All they need is a demo letter and the company to send them one.

I tend to use that term loosely and incorrectly. But if you pay the SOT, you are not exactly a normal civlian anymore. You now have all the rights that ALL civilians SHOULD have anyway.
