  1. FNH stands for Fabrique National Herstal. It is one big company. Most of their guns either have parts made overseas, or ARE made overseas and converted here to US compliant designs. But remember that they have a HUGE plant in SC that makes a bunch of stuff.

Winchester was sold to a Japanese company, and FNH will retain rights to several designs, but not the cowboy action shooting lines. They are focusing directly on the military/LEO communities. I think the days of the quality Winchester weapons have come to an end.

  2. This is a pic of me firing the MG42. I weigh 180 lbs......does that suit make me look fat? ;-)

I used to tell my ex that it wasn't the pants, it was her hips. When I recovered from that, I said yeah, sure its the pants. When I recovered from that I just said no.

I dont answer loaded questions anymore.

  3. As I said, it is a trickle down for the locals, it was written with a centralized federal government in mind. And in places like Chicago and NY city, the law abiding citizens don't have the cops out gunned. No AW's, and pistols can be difficult to get, and the police forces have a significant amount of select fire weapons. So I would say that in two of the most corrupt cities in America, the cops have the upper hand. My biggest question for those two cities would be, with gun laws the way they are, why do Chicago and NY cops need belt fed weapons? Last time I checked, there were no ground based terrorist threats or attack. The only thing I can think of is for crowd "control" when the law abiding citizen gets fed up and marches on city hall.

But we are, the law abiding citizen in this country are far from having the centralized government out gunned. We may have them in numbers, but not in strength or force of arms. And they like it that way.

  4. these laws are there masquerading as a means to protect the public from criminals and terrorists with superior firepower. I am one of those that firmly believes the government wants to disarm the public in general, as they know that when they do so, they can do whatever they feel like to us.

I would not say that it is msaquerading as a law to protect the citizens, it is more a law to protect the cops. They dont care if the citizens are out gunned, they dont want to see the citizens outgun the cops. Which when you read the Federalist papers you will realize is EXACTLY the intent of the 2nd Ammendment. It is so that the citizens can keep the cops out gunned and under control. The law abiding citizenry is of no threat to an honest and respectful police department. But when they get out of control as they have done in so many places (LA, NY city, Chicago, small town USA run by the corrupt sherrifs) it is the citizenry's right and responsibility to reign them in. By force if thats what it takes. The same goes for the federal government (which at the time of the writing of the Constitution was their biggest concern, but the trickle down affect applies to the local government as well).

Thats why the first thing a corrupt government does is disarm the citizens. It is about people control, not crime control.

BTW, the 922 section also outlines the clause about shotguns and a magazine capacity of more than 5 rounds. It is about the BS sporting purposes clause. The same clause they used to fuck the street sweeper and SPAS.

  5. always remember the tax man. its not in the gun laws guys. thought I would post this pdf and the link to it

Excellent work! Thank you very much. But like I said in my PM to you, if they want you, they will get you. I would imagine that bringing in a shipment or two would keep you off the radar, but a few of them, especially of the same thing might get you on it. But in the case of the guy in FL, he was the one doing the brokering of several peoples orders. THAT is probably how they are going to get him. I have no way of knowing if he had a license or not, they are going after him for the items not matching the inventory list. But either way they will probably force him to go broke and cop a plea when he runs out of resources to fight it.

Great work though on finding that! Thanks again! My next question is does any of the items conflict with any ITARS agreements? I ran into that twice on form 6's (my attempted imports were for resale and I used a broker to do the leg work).

  6. Guys! I really don't know where PvtPyle got this info... This is some kind of provocation against me. May be PvtPyle see me as a competitor? I'm not dealing with USA Holsters for about a year and I'm not sending there any parcels for this period of time. I sent there only one parcel and it was confiscated a YEAR ago (on Jan. 2005). No more parcels there were sent... The 99% orders from that conficated parcel already delivered to my customers. Now, I'm shipping through Germany. Please, do not panic! Every order will be deliveredand I'm working hard every day for this.

Competitor for what? How do you compete against me, on what products? I got this information from a gent who has merchandise in that package, and verified it with a friend in US Customs. He gave me a case number for it, but thats all he could give me. But he did tell me that your packages were flagged. I dont know if he means the old ones that came in or the new ones from Germany. But either way, they are onto the whole mis labeling of packages thing.

As for the loop hole that everyone is bringing this stuff in under, show me where it is. I have had two friends in Customs look for it, and they have never been able to find it. The ATF knows of no loop hole for importing weapons parts of any value or quantity without a form 6. So if someone could show it to me, I would love to keep a copy for my records. But I got warned of this posible problem a few years ago when I was working with a few guys in Russia. That is why I have not brought in anything in any form without a form 6 in years. Maybe I feel like I have too much to loose, but right now the Customs agents that are working the USA Holsters case are now contacting the recipants of those packages. Who knows how it is going to go. But because you labeled a package wrong, and filled out the paperwork wrong, he may be going to jail.

  7. Just tyo let everyone know, Andy's contact here in the states USA Holsters is now being prosecuted by Customs for filling out fraudulent paperwork. A bunch of stuff from Andy was marked "airsoft parts" and it was quite obvious when they opened it that it was not. So now, he is being prosecuted and a large shipment is now held up in a bonded warehouse in FL. And when they are done prosecuting him, the items will be destroyed or locked in some big evidence warehouse.

Finally, all of Andy's packages are now being heavily screened and siezed if there are any descrepencies in what he lists the items as and what is actually in the boxes.

  8. If you received a firearm from us, HOLD TIGHT! Ourselves and Tromix are SOT holders and we are trying to get a varriance from ATF for us to preform the mods and not have to send them back to RAAC. If the ATF can't trust two licensed manufacturers of NFA weapons to do this, how can they trust anyone (not to bag on RAAC in any way!) to do it?

Again, if you got one from us, HOLD TIGHT!

  9. Keep in mind that they are just getting back from the show, and probably have several hundred emails to sort thru. Instant resonse is not really a reasonable expectation.

If you gun is now good to go there is nothing else to do. You don't have to notify anyone, you dont have to do anything else. All anyone cares about from this end (and it seems from the ATF's end) is that the guns become compliant as quickly as possible. If you are done, you are done so to say. The only people sending guns back now are people who have decided that the issue is too big, or too risky, or has worked out something with RAAC directly.

  10. Back to RAAC to have the choke welded on.

I know this is a PITA, but if you decide to add the conversion, or add Tony's choke extension then you are able to change the chokes out again. Sure it sucks right now, but the ATF is going to take a few weeks to issue a finding, and if all the guns are fixed by then there really isn't a problem for them to address is there............

  11. Perhaps Tony or someone else could produce a short length barrel extension we could have soldered/welded on with OEM threading so all the chokes/flash hiders/muzzle brakes we've already purchased can still be used and interchanged.

NO! Do not wait. Do what you have to do now and if you want to get the adjustable chokes on your gun, let us know and we will take care of you. If you wait, you may not be able to own a gun later. Fix it now!

  12. We just spoke with ATF, we are actually using their table to write this.... This is an easy fix to the problem according to Rick Vasquez from Tech Branch. If you have a saiga of any kind, from any importer, you need to measure the barrel and fix it.

Measure the barrel from the bolt face closed to the end of the barrel with the choke off.

IF you have a gun that is out of spec, call your local plumber and have him silver solder it on, or weld it in place. Do not call the ATF and freak out about it. Do not call your local PD and freak out about it. Just fix it. The ATF is not as concerned about the violations on the holders end, they just want them fixed. We are dealing with the import and sales violations now. That is what they are concerned about.

IF you have a gun that is out of spec, regardless of who you got it from or when you got it, please email it to us ( sales@fbmginc.com) or call it in to us so we can compile it for the Russian plant and address the quality control issue. Please do not waste your time or ours by posting the number here

IF you have a gun that is out of spec and got it from us we will make it right. We do not yet know how, we are working with RAAC on that. If you have a gun in question and want the removeable choke, we will exchange the gun for you. Please contact us directly for this.

We all have seen how the ATF operates, and how things can change in the agency. This is what they are saying today, so take advantage of it and do what you need to do and we can address things on our end once everyone is clear of any issues. The ATF will be addressing this in writing very shortly, so again, do what you have to do RIGHT NOW. If you choose to wait for any other kind of resolution, more than likely it will become YOUR problem. Again, if you fix it now we will do what we can to fix your problem once everyone is clear.

    Thanks,

    FBMG

  13. Everyone needs to calm down. This is NOT the first time this has happened, and the ATF did not decide that the others were NFA weapons and had them recalled or destroyed. There were a boat load of HK-53's that were brought in that had 15" bbls on them and the ATF said, you have 60 days to weld the flash hider on. It was as simple as that.

I am going to meet with RAAC in about 20 minutes, and we are going over to the ATF booth and explain the problem and ask for them to render a position letter on it and we will get it fixed.

For those that are wondering how this happened to some guns, but not others, part of the shipment is left overs from the EAA days. The others are newer manufacture, and these have the problem. It is simply a matter of the Russians not understanding our laws and the way things work over here. It is not an issue of them trying to screw over their new market and cost everyone money, and it is not an issue of RAAC just sending them out knowing that there was a problem. Sure, lets just send them out and screw over all our customers, while we open ourselves up to all kinds of legal issues and additional expenses that could bankrupt the company Yeah, that makes lots of sense.

As I said, everyone needs to calm down, and let the ATF and Importers work it out. I will post a new thread from the ATF booth and let everyone kn ow what their response is, and how the situation is going to be fixed.
