  1. My interest in shooting and firearms in general started when i was about 6 or 7 and my dad bought me a red ryder bb gun. We would sit in the backyard and plink cans with it and he used a remington model 33 .22lr passed down to him from his father, which has now been passed down to me which i take pride in that gun because of sentimental reasons. Now i have 4 daughters from 8 down to 5 months. My 8 year old is my range buddy. she learned with my crosman quest pellet rifle and then the model 33 .22lr, and even shot my tec- 9 a few time as well as my Saiga .410. Even on days when we can't go to the range i set up a target outside and she likes to tear it up with my mp 5 airsoft gun.

this is her X mas present this year.

  2. Fun show this weekend....no idea if i'll find an s-12 there or what price, but i think that is on the list....or the 308.....

have to see what i can come home with, and if the guy will take a cz-52 on trade (bought my x39 form him a few months ago, took an old Rem 572 as trade....if i could get $150 for the CZ i would be happy and pick up the S-12.

Otherwise....who knows....i still have an urge for the bersa .380.....may take a look at the SKYY 9mm as well.

also on the prowel for a used SP101 - think i need a backup for my GP100.

I like to have at least 2 guns that shoot any caliber i own.

I went to a fun show here in georgia this past weekend. I saw a table set up with all calibers s-12 for $450 down to $280 for 7.62x39 and .223 $315 for a .410 had about 4 s-12s on the table.

  3. The VEPRs were incredible rifles. They were a bit heavier than your usual AK, but the fit and finish was 10x better than your usual AK also. I have one and I love it. Good milled AKs with chrome lined bores used to be a dime a dozen back around 1999-2003. They are rare as hen's teeth now. I wish I had picked up another VEPR back then. Here is mine now. It is an excellent rifle.

What kind of stock is that?

Looks like the stock that came on it just milled out.

  4. Hopefully the magwell will come shortly, but trust it WILL be coming. I am also considering other furniture items as well. Like a US handguard with rail and I have been thinking on a folding stock design that will still be able to be folded with a drum attached....

410 mags are your friend, 410 mags, 410 mags, 410 mags...

Im with Dinag on this one 410, 410, 410 please.

  5. Maybe tapco.com, cheaperthandirt.com, or k-var Depending on which state your in but i have found a place called MOSS PAWN SHOP in Morrow Ga, and a man by the name of Ray does in shop conversions and has pretty much everything on hand in his handy saigabox.

Little pic of shop, note AGP 10 rounders at top of picture

  6. I sent a email to info@mdarms.com about possibly making some high cap mags or drums for the S.410 and the S.20 and the reply i recieved back sounds very promising. Here is the letter back from the email...

I don't plan to make a 20ga, the market is too small to recoupe cost. I do plan to make a .410 drum that will hold around 32rds. I also plan to make a stick mag for the .410. It will be no less than 10rd and am shooting for 15rds. I have a 15rd but am having a problem wth the feed angle once the 11 - 15 rd are in , it think it is just the incorrect angle at the botom of the mag but haven't had time to work on it more. Once the drum starts shipping I will have capitial again for more research. join our mailing list and you will get new product updates. There are many on the drawing board and it is just a matter of time. Thanks for your question, MikeD
