I bought a 100 percent Russian Saiga about 10 years ago in California and had to register it as an assault weapon. You can't buy them anymore I got one the last year you could do it and have never regreted my purchase. It makes a great desert gun. Stays clean and works if it gets very dusty or sandy in the Mojave where I shoot on BLM land. Anyone out their know if you can add the required parts per 922r or is that for the rest of the country not California?
