  1. Hey I wish I can say the same! Ive been waiting for some time. I spoke to FBMG last week and said he would ship out and I would have it here by friday. It's saturday and nothing. They sure in the hell charge my AMEX that night! I'm tired of this with the internet companies. No one really stocks anything they are mostley third party distbutors at best. Maybe not FBMG but hell if you tell me friday then be friday. I can handle you tell me 30 days but don't lie to a customer!!! I can say the one guy I have delt with is Tony from Tromix I paid and shit he shipped, wow what a concept. I think Amazon works the same way. I just a soon buy a DSA or A AR-10 in 308 parts are readally availible. this was fun but dealing with individuals that can't keep there word sucks............................................... Oh and let me say I speak from experience I work for a major manufacture of large construction equipment. We hold the patent and you can only buy your parts from us. We pride our self on getting the customer there parts on time. The nice thing about AMEX is you can dispute a charge and 99.9% the buyer will win the dispute, I will open this on Monday 12pm.

  2. If you think you want to Saw it off send in the paper work now. Fill out a form 1 for say a 10'' barrel. Then when you get your tax return or some extra money you can send in your shot gun to the gun smith with proof of "tax" paid and you will be all set. I say fill out the form 1 for less then the barrel length you plan to get, that way you can go shorter if you want at a later date.

I just filled my form 1 out for 14'' becasue any shorter then that on a Winchester 1300 and your barrel will be shorter then your mag tube :ded: .

The turn around these days is about 1 month on a form 1.

    What is a form one???

  3. You can get a virgin AK trigger guard without (mag catch) from K VAR. Seat the back of the guard under and against the pistol grip, and mark the location for the four front rivits (this allows you to retain and use the factory mag catch). Drill holes and rivit in place (don't forget to install the safety lever stop plate between the receiver and guard).

I find this confusing. If you do this, you'll need to remove the whole factory Saiga mag catch assembly (which will leave you the 4 holes to mount the new military trigger guard in. No need to mark anything, just bolt/rivet/attach the new one in place.

I would like to reuse the old trigger gaurd if possible, If need be for a better result I can buy a new one. SO what do you recomend?

  4. Hi,

Im getting ready to do my first 12 conversion, my 762 went well. I saw Cobras conversion(Very NIce) but I am having trouble with the trigger gaurd. What are the steps for a basic trigger gaurd install???? Thanks again.

  5. If you can't find the original from the place of purchase and/or RAAC won't send you one... let me know. I've got quite a few S12s, and I know that I have some spare pistons because I replaced all of mine except for my 12C with the Tromix ones.

So if you can't get one, send me an IM and I'll give you one if you pay the shipping.

FYI - this is an offer to newbie JRoberts... all of you (and me) veteran f##ckers... don't start asking me to send you my spares!! :smoke:

Thank, Tony had one and the gun store is picking up the tab. but I do appreciate all the jelp guys.......

  6. Ok My new gun is missing a piston disc plug to the gas system :cryss::devil: , this piece sits behind the gas adjusting knob. It is #8 on the exsploded view of the gun in the back of the manuel. I need to know were to buy one :dollar: , or if you can please send me a pic of your and the specs to it I may have to Fab it  . I don't know what the actuel thing looks like or what it is made of so I need some help please  . Thank you and in the future I will reframe from asking stupid questions, that have been asked before........ :haha: No really I promose

  7. Unscrew the gas adjustment nut all the way out and remove it. Is there a piston/disc there? There should be. If it's missing there's your trouble. While you're in there inspect for 3 or 4 gas holes. No holes? As another poster said, Ivan the gas hole driller was drunk that day.

:ded::ded::ded: BINGO YOU WIN THE PRIZE :devil::devil::devil::devil::devil::devil::devil::devil::devil:

No Piston disc or what ever the hell it is!!!!!!!! #8 on the parts list...........................F%#K ME can't get a break  Ok so how can I get one of these pieces for my new firearm???? Can you send me a pic of yours??? Thanks man, sorry i'm real pissed. Ive had a boner for one of these for a while and I close a big sale and my wife told me to treat myself to something nice! I should of taken the strippers. What the Hell......

  8. What type of ammo are you shooting? You should break the gun in with full-power loads (00-buck or slugs) and let it loosen up before you try light loads and bird shot. Are you seeing any movement of the bolt after the gun fires?

Try setting the gas valve to 2 (light loads) if you're currently using 1 (standard/magnum). If it still doesn't cycle, check to see if Ivan was too drunk that day and forgot to drill the gas holes.

    I'm using Winchester expert high-velocity steel shot 12-g 3" 1400 ft/second. I didn't notice any movement - will look next time I shoot.

  9. Hi,

I just picked up a Saiga 12 499.00 w/10 round mag and 5 rounder. I went to the gun store and picked up some 2 3/4 shells and took her out for some test fire, it will not extract spent shell. Fires fine, will not cycle new round. Do I need to buy cetain ammo for this gun??? I have a 762 and have had so much fun , I had to have this 12. Man talk about a bubble burst. new and have to cycle it like a pump action. can you help????

  10. Hi,

New to the forum, I wanted to know what steps are to convert the standard AK poly mag to work in my Saiga 7.62 X 39? Pics would be noce. I just picked it up, and have to say what a shooter. For 217.00 I think this is a marvalous weapon. I like the monte carlo stock. and will be buying the .308 next month. Very impressed. Thank you for you help.
