  1. I've had good luck with an EOTech 512 so far but I don't know of any forends that meet your needs. Mine is mounted on a rail Tony Rumore mounted though I don't believe he does tham anymore. He told me mine would be the last one he ever did. I'd love to know if you find something though.

    Oh yeah pic at left...

    Thanks for the info, Glocker.

Hey builders, this might be a chance to make a product that is not (at least commonly) available. A mount that attaches to a tri-rail handguard that comes up and over barrel with picatinny rail mount on top. :dollar:

  2. I am sure the info can be pulled out of the numerous posts here but a search brings up too numerous posts to go through.

Does anyone know if there is any kind of mount that can be attached from the side of a tri-rail forward handguard (Hellion with picatinny rails) that will curve upward and over the top to mount a red dot sight on a 8" shorty I am finishing up? I removed the side mounted sight base and filled the holes on the build already so that is not an option.

Secondly, which red dot sights are good and will withstand the recoil/shock of a 8" shorty? Any pics or links appreciated.

  3. ***********SOLD*************As new, this is the perfect in the waistband holster for the following models: Glock 26, 27, and 33 in left hand draw.

These retail for $70 plus tax and shipping so you are getting a generous deal at $50.00

I can ship for $5.00 and will include insurance for $2.00 if you want. I often sell on e*bay as zrxtrazoom and have a great positive feedback.

Pictures I am including are stock pictures but the holster is for left hand draw. The holster is as new with only slight handling. I can accept cash, US postal money order, or paypal (add 3% for fees)

  4. It might be a good idea to have a dozen or so Beta testers. I see you have about three volunteers. I would like to be the 4th. In return, we can do a write-up with pics and experiences. As you know, personal experiences from real users will go a long ways in good PR. By the way, I am using a 8" shorty Saiga-12 which can be finicky so I could offer a unique viewpoint.

If you are open to the idea, PM me for my address. I would even do it for a discount on the product after testing.

    Thanks for your consideration.

  5. Chili,

I noticed you changed your avatar. Just wanted to tell you (like someone else mentioned earlier), you really did look like Alez Jones in that earlier picture. No offense intended if you take it that way. :D

  6. What top rail has anyone found that works for a 8" conversion on a Saiga-12? I am adding a Hellion tri-rail but want to include a top rail of some kind for a red dot sight. Any pictures would be appreciated as well.

    Thanks

Get hold of Cobra, he's in the process of mateing a rail to his ventilated gas tube cover in that length I think.

    Cobra,

What can you tell me about it?

    Thanks

You might find this helpful. Others have.

I'm currently wrapping my new DPH Arms folding stock too. Still experimenting to see just how I want it though...

    Will post pics when done.

Here's a start...now I at least know how long a piece I need to use.

    Cobra 76 Two,

My ace stock looks to be about the same length. How much cord did you need to do what your picture shows? Also, I sent you a PM yesterday, did you get it?

    Thanks

  8. If anyone can teach me how to wrap an Ace Stock with parachute cord like I saw someone's link on here a while back, I would really appreciate it.

Also, I need some parachute cord for the project. Prefer the camo, olive drab, or black. I do not know how much I need but will gladly buy some if anyone has extra laying around not being used.

Thanks in advance. You can PM or e-mail me at: esea2000@yahoo.com
