Hey every body thanks for the input, sorry it has taken so long to get back to you guys, work you know! I would keep the pg for the LEO but for us sivs there will be no pg ! Has any body seen the CA compliant ar15 it just has a metal rod 2" long in place of the pg, I think that is how we can get by thoes stupid laws!!!!!!!!!!! I will use as many us parts as I can get. Kmoore thanks for the reply. I went to a local gun shop and they had a saiga -12. I thought to my self man that is a long bbl . Now i know i cant cut the bbl to a desired length, or add evil pg,or folding stock because of stupid laws. so i thought bullpup,and i think i can get buy the pg issue. wescog all the way! What do you guys out there think? aka108 I know what you mean about indoor ranges. I like to go to the old abanded AIRFORCE range at the north end of losse road. There is no building around that area yet,and not to many people know about it,and thats the way I like it! But I won't keep my hopes up because the only thing you can get a deal on is ammo! However I would like to get one for less than $300. xxx I do live in sin city,Las vegas. There is a 16"-308 saiga nib. for sale at a local gun shop @$349.00++, should I buy or pass. Is that a good price or not? Thanks in advanced.

Job I had the same problem with my 762x39, but i am not shure about your 308, but on my 762x39 you have to tap out the pins, and use a 12 ton press to remove the fsb. Tengu helped me with that info, Just try to tap out the pins, and remove the fsb yourself. If that doesnt work take it to your local gun smith and have him remove it for you. Ihope that helps. When I was at the range a few weeks ago I had the same problem, I had double, and triple's with my saiga . I am glad that no one was around. The range i go to was abandoned by the AIRFORCE for years now. Not to many people know about it here in las vegas, and thats the way i like it! There is only one problem, it is in the direct flight path to the BOMBING RANGE . Sometimes on the way back the Blackhawks fly abit to low,ok 50 feet off deck. When that happens I just pack up my gear promptly,and get out of dodge!!!! I think there just having a little bit of fun with me. Its still a great p

Thanks Tengu $99.99 seems like a fair price for that hydraulic press. Iwill have to wait a month or so to get one, my transmission and or clutch and or transfercase went kaput this week. So im dealing whith mess now. I guess things happens for a reason, but this sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Tengu, do you or anyone else around here know where i can get a 12 ton hydraulic press, and how much would one cost? I am shure i would get alot of use out of one, not only for this conversion but other builds to. I think it is more fun if you can get things done on your owne, with the help of you good folks on this forum! Thanks again!
